Welcome to Columbia Spring in the heart of westside Bend! This sweet home is high on modern style while staying true to its vintage roots. This charming home has 2 bedrooms (king, queen) with one full bathroom. This is a spacious 2 bedroom home and there are numerous sitting areas for relaxing, playing games or getting some work done. Don't miss the backyard fire pit, hot tub, sauna AND outdoor shower.

DOWNTOWN LOCATION
This is a sweet and lovely residential neighborhood. Welcome tothe Westside of Bend. Just a few minutes walk in any direction to some of the best parks, food, shopping, pastries, you name it. This is the heart of the Bend.

Columbia Spring is only 2 blocks to the pedestrian bridge over Mirror Pond. Downtown Bend is just over the bridge. Amble north from the house a couple blocks to Newport Avenue. Here you'll find Bend's original gourmet grocer, the Newport Market and several nearby shops and restaurants. Wander a few blocks south and you'll be on Galveston Avenue, home of 10 Barrel, the food cart Lot, Sunriver Brewing and lots more! Mt Bachelor is just 20 minutes up the road in the summer.

HEATING & COOLING

A classic mill cottage, Columbia Spring has central heat and A/C to keep you warm in the winter and cool in the summer.

SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS
The 2 bedrooms (king, queen) and queen sleeper sofa in the living room provide sleeping for up to 6. Like usual, sleeper sofas are usually the most comfortable for kiddos or one smaller person. We provide European style bedding for all 3 beds along with extra pillows and blankets. A Pack & Play crib and high chair are also provided.

BATHROOM & WASHER DRYER
There is one bathroom in this home so please be sure your group is ok with sharing. The bathroom is newly renovated with a large, tiled shower with dual shower heads. No tub. The home is stocked with earth friendly soaps and shampoos. Feel free to use the washer and dryer during your stay.

KITCHEN & DINING
The kitchen is fully stocked for the chef. Gas cooking and lots of counterspace make meals easy and fun. Seating for 6 is provided. We always supply basic oils and spices for your use too. You'll find all the expected appliances (oven, stove, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, toaster) plus more.

SMART TV & FREE WIFI
Big screen smart TV in the living room will allow you to stream your subscriptions or simply watch channels provided by the homeowner via Apple TV. Free wifi in the home, of course.

OUTDOOR SPACES - HOT TUB, SAUNA, OUTDOOR SHOWER
The just outside the kitchen is your dining patio with gas BBQ. In the backyard, you'll fine a bonafide fire pit, paver patios, barrel sauna and hot tub under the stars. There is an outdoor shower as well. It is available approximately June to September when the pipes won't freeze! Outdoor shower is next to the sauna with a very petite hot water heater...so best to plan for a cool to warm rinse in the backyard. You'll love an anytime soak in the saltwater hot tub, whether it be a warm up for the day or a relaxing soak after a long, fun day in Bend. We do ask you to be whisper quiet in the hot tub after 10pm.

PARKING
Feel free to park in the large paver driveway, with ample room for 2 vehicles. Please note the owners may have a small vehicle parked in the back yard during your stay. There is a 220 EV charging station in the driveway for your use as well.

GEAR STORAGE
Perfect for gear storage, the mudroom at the rear of the home can be home for your bikes and toys.

This is a vibrant and bustling location, especially in the summer. The Mirror Pond float tube take out is less than 1 block away street in Drake Park. Various festivals and events visit Drake Park during the summer months. Winter time is more serene as the Deschutes River slows and the park has dustings of snow.
