Truly a cute bungalow that had spectacular views of the mountains and everything was near by. If you’re looking for a place to relax and enjoy the mountainous scenery plus get out a little bit. This is perfect!

Enjoyed our stay very much. Only problem we had was our last night went to use BBQ grill and either we did not know how to operate it or it was out of propane. Was to late to get ahold of property management. We will use them again next time we are in Manitou Springs. Thanks

Dog-friendly home very near Garden of the Gods. Vintage decor and yard was completely fenced in, so dog-safe. There are stairs, but we understood them to be a high altitude training opportunity!

Everything you could ever want is furnished. Clean, cozy, comfortable and so adorably decorated. You won’t be disappointed. Location is great, you can see the mountains from the patios. We enjoyed sitting outside. There is no need for a/c it stayed nice & cool. Plenty of fans if needed. We can’t wait to go back!

A perfect place to decompress after sightseeing and golf. We loved the deck outside which is where we spent most of our time. Would have liked to have a casserole dish to bake dinner in but we managed without one. On a 39 day trip this was a highlight.

Great location- five minutes to Garden of the Gods and to a bike/pedestrian path. We loved the front patio looking down on everything. First night there we saw a black bear coming from the nearby stream then in the morning there were deer right outside the kitchen nook window. There is also a park across the street- lots of options to walk your dog.

Checkin instructions were clear and simple. The house was spotless and equipped with everything we could possibly want or need. The owner’s thoughtfulness was very evident. We loved coming back to “our” little home after a fun and busy day.

This place is super cute. It was nestled between some rocks that deer would often hang out around and greet us when we would enjoy the views from the windows. It was quiet, clean, and comfortable. The hosts were great. It snowed a lot during our stay and they came by to shovel the steps/walk way for us. My favorite part about our stay was seeing the history of the home. The kitchen was fun and seeing the photos and reading the story of the woman who lived there was warming and made me feel right at home.

This was our seventh visit to the Colorful Bungalow. It is a cozy one bedroom that has lots of space! The short walk to The Garden of the Gods is a big attraction, along with a breathtaking view of Pikes Peak from the front deck. The house is well appointed with all the necessities! It is a dog friendly place with lots to offer.

We stayed at this lovely rental in November 2024. It’s a lovely, quaint cottage in the perfect location for all of the things we wanted to do in the area. The personal touches in the rental made it very cozy and comfortable. We hope to return to the area again and hope to stay here. Thank you for your hospitality.

The house and property are much as we remembered. We stayed for several days in 2021. Unfortunately, we both developed back issues after making the reservation. We were unable to do as much out and about as we had intended, so we spent more time at the house. We noticed differences from last time, such as new flooring where before there had been carpet and fewer books on the shelf. Unfortunately, at our age, we probably won't revisit Manitou Springs, especially on a fall weekend. The house is a pleasure, and we recommend it to anyone who can navigate the many stairs.

We absolutely love this cute little house. The outside sitting area just as beautiful as the inside. We loved the view of Pikes Peak and the Manitou incline. Both of which we did. The kitchen was fully furnished with everything needed for cooking meals. Thanks for sharing your home with us.

Cute place. I agree with all of the positive reviews except for: 1) The floor was a bit dirty with dog hair and so on. 2) The toilet area was a really tight fit. 3) Although the location was very convenient and beautiful, the homeless problem was quite significant in the area. No problem for me, but I could see how it could be a turnoff for some people. 4) Some maintenance is needed for the fridge and the garden wall behind the porch. Overall it was still a good value for me, but some improvement would make it even better.

there really was nothing wrong with my stay at your place. Parking was kind of cramped , but no problems. Lovely little spot. I was concerned at first about no air conditioning, but it turned out to be comfortable enough. The kitchen and laundry had everything I needed . it was a good stay.
