College St. Retreat - German style Sunday House

This place was absolutely perfect. The Manager was professional and concerned with our stay. The beds were amazingly comfortable, which is a must after visiting the Cross in Kerville, museum in Fredericksburg and a winerery in one day... Well worth the day rate.

Such a cozy place! Loved the big sectional couch and comfortable beds. Location is great too! Would love to come back on a future visit!

Everything was exactly as advertised. Joseph was very accommodating and quick to respond. The location of the house is perfect. Walkable to Main Street but far enough away for a very quiet and relaxing escape. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch each morning with coffee. Beds were super comfy and the kitchen was well stocked. Would definitely stay here again!!

Our son got married this past weekend. We needed something quaint, quiet, comfortable and stress free. All of which we found in this cute and cozy bungalow.

Had a great visit. Property was clean, well stocked, and close to all that Fredericksburg had to offer. My 95 year old mother especially enjoyed all the wildlife we could watch out the front window. Will definitely visit again.

My granddaughter and I stayed at this home for a girls getaway weekend. It was the perfect place to stay. The home is very clean and comfortable, and is close to shops and restaurants. The neighborhood is very quiet. We enjoyed watching the beautiful sunrises and deer in the mornings. We will definitely book this home next time we visit Fredericksburg.

This house was perfect for our annual girls trip. Cute, comfy and conveniently located to all the fun activities that we had planned. The neighborhood was quiet and we even saw deer in the yard on the morning of our departure. I will be staying here again & would recommend it to anyone with a small group looking for the perfect place.

Was in town for a Porsche Club event, but I'm also a big college football fan and wanted to be able to catch up with all the big games over the weekend. The big TV was a selling point for me and it did not disappoint. Place was very clean and comfortable.

We had an amazing time at this house. It was perfect for just the three of us girls. It was an extremely safe and comfortable neighborhood. Very homey house. Joseph was very kind and responsive as well!!! Perfect location to Main Street as well, I loved that we could drop by the house to drop off to go boxes or go to the restroom.I will be definitely booking this house again! Thank you for having us.

This was my third time booking this location and once again I was not disappointed. The location is perfect. On our way into town we visited two wineries and while staying at the College St Retreat, we shopped and made time to hike at Enchanted Rock.

Fantastic for small girls weekend. Great location that is close to everything. The property was perfect for myself and a friend - super clean, comfy beds and had everything we needed.

We rented this property for 8 nights to escape an extended power outage due to Hurricane Beryl, so we were looking for a home away from home and this fit the bill. Kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed; cookware, dishes, glasses, silverware. The appliances are of good quality, including a toaster. Having a washer and dryer was a big plus. Beds and living room furniture were all very comfortable. AC cooled great! Bathroom was spacious with a nice walk in shower. Loved the front porch with rocking chairs, which we spent time every morning and evening. Location was on a street that dead end so it was quiet. There is construction going on next door but the workers don't start till 7:30 and stop around 3:30. Loved watching the deer walk by every evening and woke one morning to a baby fawn laying in the yard. We would definitely stay here again... perfect for not only a short stay but also a longer stay.
