Cole cottage was a great place to stay close to everything and very comfortable

We love spending quality family time here, and we are lucky enough to be able to holiday with both our daughters and their grandparents. The cottage is perfect for us, and we love that the cottage is so well located within the town. Each day we walked up to IGA and the local bakery for our daily supplies. As a family we love sitting on the verandah watching the ocean while eating our lunch or afternoon tea, doing puzzles, sewing and relaxing. We will be back again next year.

Reviewer Comments: This is the 4th time we’ve stayed here.A great location.The cottage is impeccably presented, with all facilities,including a dishwasher , vacuum cleaner, TV and wifi.The cottage has all the cooking requirements , oven, microwave,pots and pans cutlery etc.All cleaning gear is also provided.If there is one criticism it’s the lack of hanging space for clothes in one of the bedrooms

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Cole Cottage was clean, tidy and well equipped for our group of 6 people. Its an older style home, but is very comfortable. Having meals on the front verandah in full view of people walking down the footpath was a bit weird at first, but we soon slowed down to Kalbarri Time and it wasn't a problem. Was good to be able to wake up, go out the front door and look down to the ocean to see what the water was like - early morning fishing, or afternoon fishing. The only negative was that there were only 5 coffee cups, so one person always missed out on their morning coffee, or had to wait for someone to finish, then wash the mug. Overall it was a very enjoyable stay.

Enjoyed our stay at Cole cottage. Walking distance to everything in the little town, coffee shops, iga, dessert bar, bakery and the river. House was well equipped!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This must be our eighth family holiday to Cole Cottage and once again, it didn’t disappoint. This place has everything you need and nothing that you don’t. You can park up your car and walk to the river, the IGA, the cafe , the bakery or even Finlay’s (if you had one too many ales). All this and such a great view from the deck with a beer or cuppa in hand. Spent a lot of time there. The house is great too - you wouldn’t call it luxurious but it has everything we look for in a relaxing break in Kalbarri. The only feedback I would give this time would be that a larger doona for the queen bed would be helpful as would a new dinner set.

Pity the floor creaks all the time in the laundry going to the toilet.

The cottage was very clean, had everything we needed, was very private and in an excellent location. We could see the river from the front deck. At night we saw some kangaroos and the next day an emu! Check in was so easy and the directions to the cottage very simple. The staff at the office were very friendly. We would highly recommend staying at the cottage and would love to return soon. A wonderful stay :)

Reviewer Comments: Front deck where this transitions from more recent to original porch and extension with reeded pine boards needs attention - the condition of the timber is deteriorating and represents a potential fall risk, if one or more boards failed - if this occurred a fall could result in an injury
