Coconut palm house - 5 Bedroom Private Pool Home- Dog Friendly!

All was what as expected.

We had a great stay at Coconut Palm! The home was very spacious and great for our family. The access to Tween Waters was a great bonus that we used daily! Would stay at this home again during future visits.

Hoping to come back. The house was perfect for our party of nine. The kitchen was well-stocked in terms of silverware, dishes, glasses, cooking utensils etc. In looking at the pictures of the house on your website, I guess we didn't realized that the house had two complete kitchens and laundry rooms. The two laundry rooms were a big help, particularly after the dryer in the main-floor laundry room wouldn't work after the first couple of days. Door latch was ordered but not repaired prior to us leaving. We loved the pool. The pool area was well maintained and the water was warm. The grandchildren spent hours in the water. We made good use of the beach chairs, paddle boards, kayak and beach toys. Everybody in our group would say that going to beach was the highlight of our stay. We spent from two to four hours every afternoon at the beach. We thought the access to beach would be a little closer to us, but it was not a huge problem. We used the carts that were provided to haul everything. The next time we come (and there will be a next time) we might try to find a house closer to an access. Several people in our group did a lot of bike riding. When we arrived, there were not enough towels in the bathrooms. We searched and found enough, but it would have been nice if the additional towels had been more visible. All in all, we felt the Coconut Palm House was great. With Covid, we cooked all of our meals there and did not have to go restaurants. The only places we went were to the beach and the Ding Darling Preserve. Communication with the staff was good. The website description and photos are accurate. Payment terms and making payment are straightforward. Check-in was easy on Christmas Day.

The prop needs a lot of work (we were told the day before the issues) if I had known the how reeked of mildew dampness I prob would’ve canceled, it didn’t have a keurig, the couch in a pain in the butt, when it’s 100 degrees outside you don’t want your pool at 90, the upstairs was like a sauna, and major water damage (we were told about) but other then that it was ok. I prob won’t rent this house again, sorry Rachel is wonderful!

This property was in a perfect location to rent a golf cart or bike and quickly access the Tween Waters resort, which we did daily. We rented over Thanksgiving week and specifically selected this rental as it was very spacious and had a perfect dining room area for a family dinner. 7 adults were easily able to share without getting into each other's space. We could easily keep up with laundry with a spacious laundry room. There was a plumbing issue in the basement that was addressed while we were there as well as a leak in the garage with a bit of a mold smell. We also found some worms creeping in at times, but it was all minor and easily overlooked as our overall experience was excellent and we'd definitely return again in the future.
