Stayed Jul 25, 2025This house is classic Cape Cod. The location and private beach access is incredible. We really enjoyed the big kitchen for meals and had plenty of beds to sleep in. I would definitely go back!

Stayed Jun 18, 2025The only reason this house is getting two stars instead of one is because of its unbeatable location and the easy access to the private beach — that truly was the highlight of our stay.Unfortunately, everything else about the house left much to be desired. It’s clear that no real care or upkeep has gone into the property for a long time. The house itself has so much character and potential, but it's been completely neglected. It hadn’t been properly cleaned in what seemed like ages. Spiderwebs were everywhere, and we found kitchen containers put away wet with the lids on — some even had mold growing inside. Anything we wanted to use in the kitchen had to be thoroughly washed first, which was frustrating and disappointing. It's a real shame, because with just a bit of effort and attention, this could be a truly special place. But as it stands, it felt more like staying in a forgotten property than a relaxing vacation home.

Stayed May 5, 2025Large traditional Cape Cod home located steps from Craigsville Beach. Games, sport equipment, beach towels, large gourmet kitchen well supplied including two sinks, spacious parking. Quiet area. Outstanding outdoor shower. A few issues of squeaky floors and steps as it is an older home, one television. Our family truly enjoyed being together with plenty of bedrooms and easy trips to the beautiful beach.

Stayed Aug 17, 2024Pros: Can't beat the location. House has a lot of space which was great for our big family. Convenient store and restaurant right within walking distance. Cons: Smoke detector was going off in the attic (behind a locked door) and was not addressed our whole rental (people couldn't sleep). House wasn't really that clean - I had to mop the floors and could only find a very dirty mop that I had to wash in advance. There was no vacuum. Dishes were dirty - the coffee maker had a used filter/coffee in it. Extra linens would have been a nice to have but given the above that was the least of my worries.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This house exudes a charming Cape Cod atmosphere, conveniently located to grocery stores, the downtown shops, the beloved Four Seas ice cream shop, and more. The house is a short walk to and from the private beach, making it easy to pop back and forth. The screened-in patio, furnished with comfortable seating, was my favorite spot to enjoy morning coffee and evening relaxation. The private beach area, which was often empty, provided a peaceful escape from the crowds at nearby Craigville Beach. The house was well-equipped with fresh linens, quilts, beach chairs, towels, and a grill for outdoor dining. Inside, a spacious kitchen featured modern amenities like an espresso machine (loved this!), waffle iron, InstaPot, etc. With plenty of cookware, dishes, and laundry facilities, the house offered everything needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Highly recommend!
