Stayed Sep 21, 2025This hideaway on the lake is absolutely wonderful. Everything we wished for was there - a great view, a comfortable bed, a powerful shower and a well equipped kitchen. The kitchen was amazing, with a catering quality cooker and everything else one could want (including a tea pot for the first time on my travels!). Check-in was easy, all information was provided in advance and was clear and easy to follow.We didn't have a car and the location was perfect for walking into Wellington, where there is a great selection of bars and restaurants.It's lovely to sit on the porch and relax, or take a few steps to the lakeside and sit watching the swans glide by. Kayaks were available to borrow and my husband enjoyed getting a chance to explore the peaceful lake.Spotlessly clean. Well equipped. Super comfortable. Great host. Amazing location. I highly recommend a stay here.
