Coastal gem with pool, deck, game room, & yoga - walk to the beach

Very disappointed with the maintenance on the property. The pool was filthy and we were not able to get into it until the fourth day of our stay. There was broken glass on the pool deck, and in the pool. The yard was overgrown, which resulted in very poor visuals, and lots of mosquitoes. One of the safety handrails in the upper deck was loose. There was a leak from the main floor into a downstairs bedroom. There was a lot of junk around the pool, including old deflated, liferafts, and old pool filters. Very trashy. The garbage disposal was nonfunctional. The refrigerator was not functioning very well, and barely make any ice, and the ice cream was mushy. We only received seven towels for 11 people. On four different occasions they promised more towels, but we never received any. Vacasa (property manager) was very polite, but very slow and responding to the issues that we raised.

House was clean, comfortable, and served for a great trip. Outside needs cleaned up and some of the amenities need updated.

We had a wonderful stay at this beach house in North Myrtle Beach! The property was perfect for our large family group—plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy. The house was clean and located in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood just a short walk from the beach. We loved having a private pool, and the game room was a huge hit with both the kids and adults. The house came stocked with beach and pool toys, which was a nice bonus, and the TVs in every room made winding down easy at the end of the day. We also appreciated how close it was to grocery stores and gas stations, and the coupon book for local attractions was a thoughtful touch. When we had a small maintenance issue, it was handled quickly and professionally, which was great. That said, there are a few opportunities for improvement. The kitchen could use more cooking equipment for guests who prefer to prepare meals. The property could also benefit from some minor touch-ups and a deeper clean in a few spots. Overall, it could use a little TLC to make it feel fresher.Despite these small things, we truly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property for families or large groups looking for a comfortable and convenient beach getaway!

our family loved the house...great pool, game room alot of fun....but we had a couple issues that werent delt with the way they should have been...to make our family trip that much better....def room for improvment

The house itself was great. The heated pool as well. Location to beach, groceries etc. were great. But there were cockroaches in the kitchen and living room, and we reached out to Vacasa, who texted and called once, but then would not respond, so we had to throw a lot of food away. The garbage and recycling bins out at the curb were already full when we got there, so we had nowhere to put our own garbage/recycling, and a house full of 12 people it added up quick. The power kept going out in the downstairs game room, again no response from Vacasa. House was clean, but floors were swept but not mopped, as evidenced by the socks turning brown from walking around. Sadly won't go back there unless the homeowner changes to another company besides Vacasa.

Multiple bugs were found dead & alive in the house. The pool was cleaned the day before we left, so weren’t able to enjoy it. Long strands of blonde and brown hair were found on the couches, beds, and in the showers. The game room was musty ? and smelled old. Overall the house itself wasn’t bad. Some things just needed to be cleaned more and thoroughly checked on before we arrived.

I would like to start off with that we love the house and our stay was great, but there are quite a few things that need to be addressed first off. We arrived at 4 o’clock at the house was not ready till about 4:30 for the cleaners to get done And there was the garbage issue from the previous renters. Both cans were overflowing and at least eight bags on the ground, we had to call and have it cleaned up which they did in a very timely manner. The only problem was both cans were still full, and we had no place to put our garbage until Thursday when the garbage man picked it up. There was also a few cockroaches in the kitchen on the stove on the counter and in the silverware drawers at night, the back porch was loaded with them in the kitchen because there was only three spoons and two knives and only 6 inch frying pan. We ended up going to Walmart and purchasing several things so we could continue to cook at our leisure, vacuum cleaner was also so clogged and packed with dirt that it wouldn’t even suck anything up so we had to literally take it apart and clean it out ourselves. The pool was not filtering properly and we had to call that the heater wasn’t working either after a few hours someone came and they did fix the pool filter, but no one ever came to fix the heater , which was kind of disappointing because that was one of the main reasons we rented the house .

House was adequate for our family but cleanliness was a problem. Upon arrival at 4pm checkin time the house was not ready Several beds were not made up & dirty laundry was left at front door. A cleaning girl was sent back to complete making up beds. Floors were not cleaned properly, and bathrooms were also just surfaced cleaned. There was an ant problem in the kitchen. The pool area was not properly attended to. There was sand on the bottom of the pool and all over the floor by the outdoor shower. (a mound of it) My son took it upon himself to clean it up Thee was also an electrical problem in the. downstairs sitting room which caused us to be unable to use it. They did send an electrician to fix it However he changed all the lightbulbs & thought the problem was fixed but an hour later the light started to flash on & off which caused us to have to turn off the overhead lights& therefore were left in the dark. Room was unusable I think the property manager needs to be more attentive to what is going on in between visitors & do a better job overseeing whats going on. I must say that because we said we did not find the place satisfACTORY, THEY DID REFUND US THE CLEANING FEE I am writing this review so that future guests will find this house in better condition

How quiet it was and the distance from the house to the beach it would have been great if you if you guys would have answered all our complaints when we got there I took my grandkids there and I selected this house especially because of the private pool it was a fifth and a lot more things was not good the man left a whole bag of dirty laundry in the bottom and the dining room or whatever they call it and did not come back to get it so we were stuck with nasty laundry in the house I am very disappointed
