Coast Is Clear with Jetted Pool, Game Room, and Private Beach

**Review for Coast is Clear Vacation Home – Honest Feedback After Our Stay**Now that I’ve had time to rest after our vacation, I want to share an honest review of our recent stay at *Coast is Clear*. The home is undeniably beautiful — spacious, stylish, and equipped with great outdoor spaces like the private pool and patio areas, which my family thoroughly enjoyed. However, considering we paid **7,333** for this rental, we encountered far too many issues that made our stay less than ideal.One of the biggest concerns was the **elevator**. We specifically chose this home because we had a couple of family members with disabilities who could not climb four flights of stairs. When we arrived, there was a sign posted stating that improper use of the elevator could result in a **350 charge**, which made us hesitant to even use it. The elevator also required three separate doors to be operated, which was confusing at first. A maintenance technician eventually showed one of our family members how to use it, but we were disappointed to find that the elevator could only be accessed from the **first floor going up** — it could not be used from the **third floor going down**, which was frustrating and inaccessible for our disabled guest.We also had issues with **hot water** in several of the bathrooms. Some showers only ran cold water, and our family was forced to take cold showers. Maintenance confirmed the issue and contacted a plumber, but it was never fully resolved duri

Everything about staying here was great. The home was better than advertised. Would definitely stay here again. The kids and adults had a blast.

We stayed with our 5 adult children and their families. 20 people total. The house was beautiful and about a 8-10 minute walk from the beach. Private beach access that was never crowded. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone. Private pool was enjoyed as much as the beach. (It would be nice if some beach toys were left for families to use.) Furnishings were very nice. Beds were comfortable. Linens could use replaced. (Towels were thin and sheets wouldn’t stay on the mattresses.)We cooked every day in the very large kitchen. Plenty of dishes and utensils, not enough pans. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Destin!

Coast is Clear was amazing! The pictures don't do this property justice. It was so large and spacious and perfect for our family group of 25! The swimming pool was larger than what we thought it would be and the water was very clean and refreshing. The children and adults enjoyed it very much, along with the pool table and foosball. It was great to have a private bathroom with each bedroom. We especially loved the fabulous kitchen and extra large dining table and living area! It was perfect for eating lots of meals together and gathering to visit and play games. The cart and chairs provided for the beach were helpful as was the chair and umbrella rental which was provided at the beach.

The home was beautiful and very clean. Any issues were quickly responded to my the property manager. There were a few issues with the hot tub/pool heat which took a few days to get fixed.

The house was perfect for our large family vacation. We had 16 people and it was enough space. The game room downstairs and the pool were a big hit with the kids. The beach was a short walk away. Highly recommend!

This was our sexcond year in a row staying at Coast is Clear. We love the house, love that we have private beach access with 2 chairs and an umbrella so we can stake our real estate on the beach. They updated the furniture and the kitchen remains extremely well stocked. Love having and upstairs and downstairs refrigerator. Beds super comfortable,, lots of places to hang outside, inside or in between. Would totally recommend this to anyone with large groups.

We had a group of 19 with 10 adults and kids aged 1-18. The bedrooms are thoughtfully designed for large groups and the gathering areas are comfortable and large. We never felt cramped and frequently used the balconies, roof, and patio spaces too. Multiple refrigerators, washers/dryers, and dishwashers made mundane tasks easy. The wagon and beach chairs at the house were a great convenience. The private beach access is the true gem of this property. The walk is short. The vendor providing chairs and umbrellas is friendly and prompt. We were there during a busy time and the beach was clean and never over crowded. Many in our group walked to the nearby coffee shop each morning. The main complaint from each family in our group was the cleanliness. The floors were so filthy that our feet were black within the first hour of being there. The showers still had hair in them and one had a dirty towel left in it. We only stayed 4 nights so we didn’t want to spend time requesting a cleaning. I have no reason to believe the property manager wouldn’t have corrected this if we asked. With that being said, we would still rent this property again in a heartbeat. The kitchen and fridge were clean. And the pool was spotless. The owner has included so many little details that are great conveniences.

This was a great space for our family! We all had our own space but lots of great spaces to be together!! The communication with property management was great - the only issue we had was w the 1st floor AC but we received a response within 5 minutes and it was fixed within 20 minutes. It was still working just not cooling as it should. I would recommend reading reviews from previous visitors and planning accordingly. We knew our group was large and we would need some big pans for cooking and previous reviews said there weren’t a lot so we took some with us. We also took a few more kitchen towels due to our experience overall at vacation rentals. We were prepared and it was a great week! It was a great neighborhood. We even met one of the permanent residents who visited with us one evening and gave us some of the history of the area. I would definitely stay again!!

Super clean and very comfortable!

The property was nice but the elevator was not working. Our elderly parents had a hard time going up and down the stairs. For a beach house, you’d expect the property to have beach towels for use but they didn’t. And for a house with a pool, you’d expect them to supply life jackets also but nope, none were provided. We had to pack life jackets and beach towels for our children which caused extra space taken in our suitcases that could have been used for something else. The property should invest in these for future renters.

Excellent house, perfect for a large group. Rooms were large, nice bathrooms, excellent sleeping arrangements for young adults, grade school children , and teens. Kitchen could have had larger pots and pans for cooking for large group. Also, extra blankets would have been nice. Loved the extra amenities like wine cooler, two refrigerators, and ice machine. Pool was excellent! Would definitely stay again.
