Closest house to the Gondola with Dr Seuss

Highly recommend staying here. Large house, unbeatable location, and very comfortable. The decoration is charming.

We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed new years festivities at the nearby heavenly village. The downstairs bathroom and bedroom worked great for our elderly aunt with mobility issues. Host was very communicative and accommodating.

This house is situated in the perfect place, close to the casino, shopping and ski resort. Plenty of space for our family, I would recommend booking this place. I would love to book this place in the summer as well.

Great home with tons of space!! Super close to shopping, casinos and restaurants. Everything within walking distance. We had 6 adults and had plenty of room for everyone plus a dog!!

We absolutely loved our stay at this spacious and beautifully maintained home in South Lake Tahoe! It was perfect for our large group, with plenty of room to relax and gather, and the location couldn’t have been better—just minutes from the lake, shops, gondola, casinos, restaurants, and trails. The house was well-stocked with everything we needed, and filled with thoughtful touches that made it feel like a true home away from home. The beds were comfortable, the living spaces were inviting, and check-in was seamless. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful time staying at this whimsical house while we were skiing. We could walk to the gondola, even with ski boots and carrying equipment. The house was clean, everything worked and the beds were comfy.

Host did not provide information for check in or anything until day before then deleted it so I could not obtain wifi or other info, I tried multiple times to get ahold of her and she didn’t respond. Did not have any cleaning supplies. The house was falling apart and not well kept.

Perfect location big house for a big family We have issues with the owner after we left the house. She complained that we filled up a lot of garbage container. It’s was all for Christmas present and boxes. We did what she ask to put trash outside. She also ask to help with the sheet and I thought that was part of the cleaning people and we did it anyway She left the house without trash we used the 3 bedroom and bathroom we were a big family After that she try to charge us extra money for dirty house that we used for 4 days and 10 people The cleaning fee it’s included also she try to charge us for a cleaning carpet that she didn’t proof it’s was something wrong And now two weeks later she is using our Netflix account and erased al the family member in the account Be careful when you rent she has a lot of rules in the in a lot of walls you will see a list or rules

Great location in South Lake Tahoe. Short walk to Heavenly gondola and shops/restaurants. Easy/short drive to Heavenly Tram and Gun-barrel lifts.

We arrived at the house and it was as described and a little more once we saw all the Dr. Seuss artwork. I appreciate all the cooking supplies available and use of the pantry. The Garland cooktop was a joy to make breakfast. The trip was short but had all the comforts of home. And close to Heavenly as described.

We were a large group of two families, children and pet and the house was large enough to easily accommodate all of us. Location was very convenient too and we could walk around the prime south lake tahoe area from the house without needing car. Owner was also very flexible in terms of check-in and check-out time which made our experience great. Overall the house was in a great shape and we enjoyed our stay. There were some areas of improvement but nothing major to hurt our experience: - Wifi didn't work for the entire time during our stay - Bathroom cleanliness was 8.5/10 but manageable. - Existing pet hairs were visible in many places in the property but we didn't mind as we had a pet ourselves. - Wrong code given during check-in (that was resolved quickly after communicating with owner)

We had a great time staying here. It was close to everything we were trying to get to, including a show at Harvey's. Plus they had a plethora of cookware, which was great for making a few meals while we stayed. The host was also quite flexible and let us add an extra day to the end of our stay, which we greatly appreciated.

Owner was so easy to work with and responded quickly. I have no complaints

Great location to attend golf tournament! Some simple stuff would have made a difference.

Awesome place to stay for a few days with our little family and a few family friends. Could not beat the location, and loved that the street was closed to through traffic which kept things quiet. Enclosed yard was great for the dog, and out little one to play around. It was on the warmer side during our stay so we appreciated the main room ceiling fan, and tower fans in each of the bedrooms as it was definitely warm while sleeping. Close walk to heavenly village, easy drive to the lake where we spent the day. Host was super easy to communicate with. We hope to book it again in the future!

Nearby lake and casino. If your willing to walk there is plenty todo. No need to fight for parking. They have scooters for rent on the main streets to get anywhere fast. Big kitchen and propane bbq pit for cooking. Glad I took my own propane tank because the one provided was near empty and I was here for 3 nights. Lovely property very big and open concept. Also pet friendly nice enclosed back yard. Definitely recommended to anybody who wouldn't like to stay in a hotel room(s) and wants to be as close as possible to casinos, lake, gondola and stores.

We recently stayed at Marcia's property for the weekend. She was so accommodating with us! We loved the home and how easy it was to find anything that was needed. The location couldn't have been more fitting to our groups needs for the weekend. I would definitely book this home again!

Quick two night stay. The BEST location. Two minute walk downtown. Amenities as listed. We would return!
