Our stay was good. We have had better homes in Sunriver than this one. I did not realize the house did not have AC. It was not something that was really written out to be noticed in the description. There was only one fan in the whole house when I got there, and the house was not clean. I called down to sunset lodging and they sent out a cleaning lady that was less than happy to be back.The handyman was happy to be dropping off fans for us and a pool ball that was missing in our pool table. All the screens did not fit tight and let in mosquitoes that chewed us up while we slept. It was amazing to hang out with my family and have a pool table but it was not the best day I've ever had in Sunriver. The beds were okay but not as comfortable as what I've had before and all of the pillows were flat and stiff. We'll not rent this home again

The house was 81 degrees in the evening and running all the fans only brought it down to 79 and it was so noisy we were unable to have conversations. Took the lid off the hot tub and there was a dead frog floating on the top of the water. The oven was broken and unusable. A maintenance guy came out and reprogrammed it. It smoked when we put it on. The cookie sheet would not fit in the tiny oven. One of the bikes had a flat tire. A light in the kitchen kept on flashing off and on. My husband tried tightening the bulb but it did not fix it. On the positive side, good quiet location. The pool table was fun. Ample plates, bowls and silverware. Would not return. Overpriced for the griminess and old furniture. The mattresses were soft and uncomfortable. This is the first bad review we have ever given and we are seasoned travelers.

If you’re planning on having a cozy at home stay, this is NOT the home for you! This is a vacation rental that is for the movers and the shakers! It doesn’t really have the space to hang out with more than 4 people/2 couples, or parents and two kids. Negatives- It was really disappointed to read the reviews about excellent air conditioning to then not have any when we arrived. I feel like they didn’t make that clear in the home description! The hardest part about that is the main living space is in the loft. The hottest place in the whole home! They don’t provide any box fans! I ended up having to buy our own. - When you walk into the house, it feels very small and tight. so for six humans to hang out together in the lower living room or at the kitchen table is very difficult! The pool table took up so much of the living space upstairs and the living room was too small. So we didn’t have a spot where all six people could be together. - I feel like it was missing some of the essentials in the kitchen like containers for leftovers. When you schedule a house at a resort you usually are planning on cooking and having leftovers. The cups and glass situation was a little disappointing. For a house that sleeps six there weren’t very many drinking glasses. No wine glasses no plastic cups for outside/kids. - The stove in the kitchen is outdated and took forever to boil water.- no lights turned on with bedroom switches

We were in town for a baseball tournament. This house was just perfect for our family. Fixtures were older, but everything worked great. Very close to the park and SHARC. The pool table was a huge hit with the teen/pre-teens. We ended up being a bit needy (sorry!!), and the host was fantastic!

The property was well maintained. The hot tub was the best. We did not use the passes, every time we drove by it was so busy. (Plus we had no kids with us). The bikes were a nice way to get out early in the am when it was cool outside. The only thing I wish I had was more lighting in the house. But my overall stay was great.

If you have not explored Sunriver, Oregon, you ought to put it on your list. This property is perfectly located in Sunriver for easy access to shopping, dining, bike rentals, coffee, wine/beer, golfing, pools, spa, parks, tennis and pickleball courts....you name it, its here.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our stay at East Butte 22. A couple of minor little problems upon check in, but they were fixed very fast. Our Wifi router was not working, the service tech came out Saturday night, when we checked in, to replace it. One sink was not draining in the bathroom, fixed the next morning. I would say that if you are not up at the crack of dawn, don't sleep in the upstairs loft area, it is bright in the morning, but there are two other rooms downstairs to choose from. An upgrade on frying/saute pans would be nice, there are some really old Teflon ones that can't be safe to use anymore, luckily we had some camping pans with us.Other than that, it was lovely! Loved the pool table and hot tub. The outdoor deck was great!
