Close to Lambert's Cove Beach. Pastoral setting. Elegant farmhouse & guest house

What an incredible find! The house was perfect for our group of family and friends. Plenty of space for everyone inside and out. The master bedroom and ensuite bath was on the first floor which was perfect for the parents. Great swing and hammock. Even an outdoor shower- we didn't get to try it out but it's a nice add! Plenty of games and puzzles. The location was exactly what we were looking for, close to hiking and biking trails and very private. It's about 10 minutes or so to town but the large backyard patio and BBQ was worth it. We watched the deer at dusk and enjoyed the quiet. Colin is an excellent host. He responded quickly to questions prior to and during our stay, and provided helpful area information and recommendations. One of the best stays we've experienced. We'll definitely be returning!

Absolutely gorgeous house. We got married over the weekend in edgartown and this place served as the perfect homebase to relax and recharge.

We had an amazing stay at Turtle Pond Farm! The property is very secluded, adjacent to Blackwater Pond Preserve with easy access to hiking trails. It's a short drive to beautiful Lambert's Cove Beach (a stay allows you to purchase a beach pass, needed in summer), grocery stores, farm stands, and a great seafood market. Our group of ten was very comfortable and took full advantage of the outdoor shower and the fully euipped guest cottage on the property. The home is beautifully designed and appointed with the feel of a private home rather than a cheaply thrown together rental unit. We cooked every day and found the kitchen to be well-stocked. There were plenty of beach towels and chairs. The outdoor grill worked great. Would definitiely stay again. Thanks Colin!

We had an enjoyable and quiet stay at a lovely property. The property is tucked away deep in West Tisbury, so it was essential that we had a car.

We had a great stay. It was a wonderful property, exactly as advertised.

The house and grounds were beautiful and were exactly as described. We enjoyed the peaceful setting and saw deer almost every evening. The house was very clean and comfortable.

Couldn't rave abut this house and Colin as a host more. It was the perfect setting for our family. The house had everything we needed. We had a lovely time.

We had the best stay at Colin’s property! We spent a few days enjoying the house before our wedding weekend. Each guest at the wedding couldn’t believe the beauty of the property. The house has everything you could need for your stay. Colin was timely in his communication and was quick to fix any issues. We would 100% recommend staying here!

Simply perfect

The house and property was absolutely perfect! We felt so comfortable and the layout of the rooms and patio was just the right vibe we were looking for. Such a gem of a property! We were very fortunate it was available for our son's wedding on MV.

Beautiful home in an amazing setting. Loved it

The property of this house is stunning and well kept. The house as well is clean and immaculate. The owner was very attentive and amenable until an issue with the cameras came up. We received a pdf before going which talked about video cameras that stated they were security for when the house was empty and that when occupied, notifications were turned off. We saw that one of the cameras faced the house (lots of windows) and an outdoor shower. We had young girls at the house so we covered that camera to help them feel more comfortable. The owner immediately wrote telling me to rectify whatever we had done to the video camera. I explained to him that people felt uncomfortable with that camera and his response was to dismiss my concerns. He said the camera was far from the house and the shower door faced in the opposite direction. We stood next to it-very easy to observe anyone coming in and out of the shower. This left us with a not good feeling the entire week. None of the guests used the shower. The second issue was that the owner asked that windows and doors remain closed due to pollen. I understand that as a general rule but to insure this, there were no screens on the windows, so for the whole week we were unable to enjoy the fresh air and have easier access to the beautiful backyard and patio. If I’d known upfront that I wouldn’t be able to open windows on a rental property in the country, or that there were video cameras facing the house, I would not have rented it.

The home was beautiful and tranquil on an amazing and large swath of land. Everything we needed was there, internet was spotty was the only negative. We would stay there again. We had everything we could ever need for a holiday on the vineyard. Beach chairs, a bbq, and space. We even saw deer roaming the property, which was an extra bonus. Thank you for having us. Will need a car in my humble opinion as walking into town would be a trek on foot. We loved our stay and appreciated the character and coziness of this immaculate property.

The house offered plenty of room for our group of eight. We cooked a lot and the kitchen was perfect and well stocked with pots, cutting boards and everything you could think of. The grounds were beautiful. We used the fire pit a couple of nights and it was quiet and pleasant. The beds were comfortable and everything was provided.

I almost don't to write a review because I want this spot all to myself. The house is spacious and gorgeous, the setting completely stunning and the location amazing for Lamberts Cove fans. Thank you for everything!

Everything about the experience was perfect. The home is wonderful. The grounds are spectacular.
