Close to Galena, close to perfect. Premier get away. Three beautiful suites.

We had a great time. It was a close drive to Galena and still secluded to feel like we had a private getaway. We had deer come to drink by the creek, and a nice area for a bond fire. The home was beautiful and the owners were really nice. We would definitely book again.

This was a beautiful, serene property that was in absolutely wonderful condition. 6 family members stayed for a long weekend and we sat on the wrap around porch, had a fire in the fire ring, made meals in the fantastic kitchen. What a place!!!!!!!

This charming getaway has everything you need - comfortable rooms, outfitted kitchen and peaceful outdoor space. The host is incredibly thoughtful. We’re looking forward to returning!

All the amenities were perfect. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed the closeness to Galena, yet not in town. We definitely plan to stay again!

The setting was picturesque for a quaint and quiet getaway! The bedrooms were clean and spacious, the living rooms provided ample space for my family to enjoy time together. We made many meals in the kitchen and played games at the table. The house was quiet and peaceful. We didn't use the fire places, but they were ready and stocked. The hosts were friendly and respectful (they lived just up the road). Me and my family were very happy with our stay!

House was clean and beautiful. The setting was stunning. Country , fire pit, and solitude. Had a chance to talk with Larry and he gave us a background on the house. Very nice people. I give this experience a 10!

This home is incredible. The rooms are spacious with fireplaces and couches in the two bigger bed rooms. The lot was AMAZING. Our kids loved playing outside and exploring the property. It really couldn't have been a better location and home for our family to stay in for the week in Galena.

Absolutely wonderful! Clean, well stocked, and the land surrounding the home is stunning and quiet - like staying at a national park but with comfortable beds to sleep in after an evening by the fire, enjoying a beautiful starry sky.Highly recommend!

Simply glorious! We stayed 4 nights and were not ready to leave. The house is beautiful, cool decor, and very comfortable. The highlight of the home is the setting. Your very own private park. Room to roam and explore. We definitely hope to return!

Our family of 6 with 4 adult children thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Pine Hollow. The grounds were large and beautiful, and it felt like we were away from it all. The house was also fantastic with large rooms, 4 bathrooms, thoughtfully decorated, great kitchen and great gathering spaces. The large porch was amazing, and it was so nice to be outside and hear the birds and enjoy the outdoors. Larry and Sally were very responsive. Great to both go into Galena and to spend time at Pine Hollow. We highly recommend!!

Larry and Sally's place was peaceful and beautiful! It was clean, and fully equipped with everything we needed. Upon arrival, Larry answered any of my questions I had. If you are looking for a place secluded and peaceful, but still just a short few minutes to downtown Galena, this is the place for you!

We had our annual Girls' Getaway Trip in Galena this year. There were 6 of us and the house worked out perfect. Four bathrooms was a game changer for getting us fixed up and out of the house in a timely manner. However, we didn't spend too much time away because we really enjoyed the house too. Morning coffee on the porch was amazing and I couldn't believe we didn't get eaten by mosquitoes, but it was lovely and not a bite. The proximity to town is excellent, but you feel so secluded at the house.

It was the perfect getaway for our ladies!! The house was just what we needed, peaceful and we loved the wrap around deck for our morning coffee and our evening glass of wine. The owners Larry and Sally were very gracious and made sure we had everything needed!! I would highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Galena!

All of our group loved this house so much! Comfortable well designed spaces with plenty of bathrooms and lots of fireplaces. The view from the front porch is lovely, lots of birds for the bird lovers. Just a 10 minute drive into Galena. Definitely want to come back here!

While still great, the photos and description of Pine Hollow don’t scratch the surface of how perfect this place is. Directions are spot on to get there, check in is seamless and from rooms to outdoor spaces it’s all fantastic. We had many great conversations and laughs on the porch from morning coffee to evening drinks.

Had a great weekend staying here. The house was large, clean and had everything we needed, including a fireplace and bathroom in every bedroom! The host left restaurant recommendations and replied quickly if we had questions. We were greeted by two deer in the yard as we drove up. Beautiful property and only a 5-minute drive to downtown. We would definitely stay here again.

Pine hollow is located just outside the city limits of Galen’s making for an easy access to the city for restaurants and shopping. The “ cottage” itself is located in a very private and secluded park like setting with fire pit ( which we did not use) and an abundance of wildlife-we saw a magnificent 10 point buck running across the yard. No neighbors to annoy or disturb which was important to us The “ cottage” has three very large suites with en-suite bath. Two gathering areas, each with a fireplace. A fully equipped kitchen was perfect for our lite snacks , breakfast and lunch. Very clean with adequate bath and bed linens. Very comfortable all around. I highly recommend Pine Hollow for those who desire peace and tranquility for a getaway but close enough for convenience

This place is a hidden gem! A perfect place to kick back, enjoy a beautiful, peaceful setting and just over a mile to Galena. The house is great for 3 couples…pictures and description are accurate. Larry & Sally are exceptional hosts. Thank you for a wonderful escape!

The place was perfect! We were 3 friends, so having 3 on suites was amazing. The property is beautiful, and it is only a mile or two from town. Coffee and wine on the porch was great. Highly recommend.

The location of this property is right outside Galena. The property was beautiful! Freshly mowed and lots of flowers. The house was very clean and spacious. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The large kitchen table was great for six women to sit around and eat and visit for many hours. It was a great place for a girls weekend away. The owners were great and very responsive to messages. We couldn't have asked for anything nicer!

The home was clean and perfectly appointed. The setting was quiet and peaceful. We had three couples and each couple had their own suite. The common areas were large and comfortable. Overall, it was a great stay.
