Clearwater Home Close to the Beach w/Shared Pool, Private Washer/Dryer

My wife and I rented the place for the week. Frankly we're scratching our heads why we didn't rent 2 weeks. My daughter's family joined us for a few days. So we had 6 grand kids. This house is great for kids! It's obvious the owners also come and enjoy their house.

The house worked well for our extended family of 9. Enjoyed the pool.

I rented this home because I wanted some rest and relaxation and to be close to the beach and boardwalk, to be able to use the fireplace, and spend time on the screened in porch on back of house. I fell in love with the Outside of the house immediately when i got there, and through the pictures on website), and the pretty, quiet neighborhood. It's under 5 minutes' drive to beach and boardwalk too. The week I was there, it rained every day, foggy, and cold out (just regular mother nature bad luck), so I was kind of sad I didn't get to enjoy the outdoors much or at all. The house inside is cute but does need some work. I was hoping to use the fireplace for cozy nights/days, after seeing that it had a fireplace in the pictures, especially since it was cold out too. There was a sign on it saying please don't use. So that was a downer for me.. I was also hoping to enjoy the screened in porch but weather stopped that, but when I viewed the pictures before I chose this home, the porch looked private and cozy. In person, the neighbors houses were back to back with each other, along with this home. So even if it had been nice weather and I tried to enjoy, I honestly wouldn't have liked looking right at the neighbors back porch. Once again, the pictures did not show that the neighbors were that close in the backyard. Home needs new rugs/flooring (very loud creaking from floors throughout the whole home, possibly subfloor not attached properly). The master bedroom was very cute and beachy. The kitchen was outdated but had everything you needed to cook. Living room furniture was very uncomfortable to sit on (cushions sank all the way down when sitting), and stains on a couple cushions too. Both bathrooms are outdated and furniture on porch maybe needs to be replaced. Also, the TV situation was very confusing to use. Three different remotes to try and find the streaming apps (maybe clear instructions on how to use the three of them for next renter...). It was only me staying there, so I didn't have to use the two other bedrooms, they looked nice and a lot of space for families to sleep. The garage was huge, very nice. Had all the beach stuff you could ask for: bikes, beach chairs, and more.. Had a very nice big grill in garage too. I wish the pictures and description of the home had been better. If I knew all that I had seen when I was there, then I wouldn't have chosen it.. Also, on the last night of my stay I noticed ants crawling up walls in living room, kitchen, and master bath. I texted Vacasa the very next morning before my departure time, they texted me a little while later, asking me if maintenance could come in, I said yes and that I was already on the road, being that I had to depart before 10am. I'm sure it could be beautiful inside the home someday.

Great place to vacation near Bethany Beach. House is clean and is in a great community where you can swim and fish. Spacious rooms and lots of wonderful memories. We keep going back!

We had 8 people staying in this beautiful home. It was more than enough room. Close to all of the local beaches. Safe community that has a tennis court and pool. We will be coming back next summer!
