Very clean, small cottage. It was great for three adults. The yard could use a little attention, but that is a small matter.

The house was clean and comfortable and a great location not far from town and beach. Text communication with the host was clear. We enjoyed our stay!

This is a fine cottage to spend a few days at to have great access to Wellfleet center, Rt6, and Wellfleet beaches. Parking is ample for 2 cars or large vehicle, and was spacious enough for our small family of 3. Wouldn’t recommend walking around this area (though plenty of people do) given busy but super narrow and windy roads with no sidewalk. Kitchen has the basics, and good quality washer/dryer were nice to have. Could certainly have been cleaner (barring a few bugs here and there as would be expected for a wooded cottage), and basement space was almost unusable for us due to cleanliness, smell, and bugs (if you don’t need the space, this may not matter to you). Deck around the property nice for a morning coffee, but too many bugs by early evening to enjoy. Overall, decent location but a bit disappointing in terms of amenities for the price.

This home was exactly what we needed for a delightful getaway on the Cape! Super close to everything and less than 30mins from Provincetown. Spacious rooms for our small family and a kitchen with everything needed to make whatever we wanted. The upstairs shower was nicer than any at hotels I’ve been in! The outdoor shower was a great option to have after long days at the beach.

Lovely, comfortable salt box cottage with fun modern touches and a well-equipped kitchen made our stay in Wellfleet delightful. The house has two air-conditioned bedrooms upstairs and a full mostly unfurnished room downstairs and full bath that could be used as a bunkroom or playroom for small kids. We walked to town (about a mile away) and the town pier along a busy but scenic road and enjoyed taking it easy in charming Wellfleet for a long weekend. The kitchen was well-equipped for making delicious dinners from the bounty of amazing ingredients available from local farms and stores - you can find farmer's markets in Orleans on Saturday or Wellfleet on Wednesday. And Hatch's in town is the best for produce and seafood. The place is bright, sunny and the beds were comfortable. We rode the bike trail, went to the beach, and did some local hikes, including Atlantic Cedar Swamp Trail at Marconi beach. Highly recommend for a couple or family trip to Wellfleet!

The house was brightly lit and very clean. Minimally stocked with pans and such but great not having to bring sheets or towels. It was also nice having use of a washer and dryer. Great outdoor shower and indoor shower. Nice to have an extra bathroom downstairs, however, the basement was void of any seating. It would have been nice to have a small couch and a tv with cable so the kids had a place to watch tv and play. Overall great spot for a small family or 2 couples. Both bedrooms had ac which was a nice bonus. Roads are very windy without sidewalks so although it was only a short walk to the town it wasnt a very safe walk. There is a cute little bay beach that was nice to swim at during mid or high tide but otherwise was too mucky at low tide but a nice spot to watch the sunset at night. The house has a nice outdoor porch but was very buggy being sourounded by trees. Overall a great little house. Check in and check out was seamless.

We had a marvelous time in Wellfleet and the entire Outer Cape. This excellent cottage served our needs well and really enhanced our trip; the pictures are an effective and honest representation of the property. Plenty of space within the house and a great yard to provide privacy and the classic cape feeling. You are right in the heart of Wellfleet yet have the privacy of a quiet, wooded property. The cottage is very bright and light inside, yet the shaded yard provides additional space to relax and enjoy the fresh air of Wellfleet. Comcast had a cable issue with some equipment and the property owner had them scheduled quickly to come out on a Sunday to make the repair. She accommodated our needs and provided a great service experience. We look forward to our next visit to Wellfleet and hope the cottage is available at that time too.
