I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Close to beach. Second stay here. Stovetop not heat evenly. No blender. Very clean. Chairs in common area are sunken. Plenty of hot water. Beds comfortable.

Stayed Jul 28, 2024This was our second time staying in this home (our 10th time staying in Carillon Beach). The home is spacious and well-located and is a great space for large groups. Unfortunately it has deferred maintenance throughout, extremely outdated and damaged furniture and lighting and has quite sub-par toiletries and such for what is typically provided in this price point (or any vacation rental I’ve stayed in). We were provided one roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, one kitchen trash bag, & one dishwasher pod. We had to purchase trash bags, soap, shampoo and conditioner, paper towels, laundry and dish detergent etc. just to make it through the week. For spending over $4,200 I would expect for those basic things to be included. There were also no beach towels or beach chairs provided (every other home in the neighborhood that I have rented provides these things with the rental), so we had to pack those from home. All relatively minor things that are just a headache to have to do on vacation. Again, the location and space of the home are great. It would just benefit greatly from some maintenance and small property management touches to make guests’ stays more stress-free.
