Stayed Aug 16, 2025We stayed for a month while relocating to NZ. After searching for a house to rent, I realize what a gem this house has been for us. I could have stayed for a year! I realize now that NZ homes are not well heated, however this home had a heat pump in every room. The last comment about groceries is just ridiculous - any VRBO in the world would not supply groceries. It was very easy in the neighborhood to walk or drive to a local store for necessities. There are parks for little kids or pets nearby and plenty of wonderful cafes.The owner was easy to communicate with and helpful. Highly recommend.

Stayed Aug 8, 2025We loved the house it was warm and perfect size for our family. Really disappointed that there was no milk in the fridge when we got there, there was no pepper and no handee towels. No condiments whatsoever. We are a kiwi family who live in the states and we visit family regularly- time is always against us as we are catching up with so many family. I found it odd there wasn’t even pepper let alone peanut butter in the cupboard. Happy to take 1400 off us for a couple of nights but not provide paper towels? Or milk? We loved this wee house but doubt we would use it again as the condiments/supplies really were minimal.
