Everything looked exactly as pictured. It was very clean and my 2 kids loved it. (One is 8 and one is 9 months so it is crawl friendly inside.) The grounds are awesome my oldest and husband enjoyed walking around. Lots of neat things within 20 mins and the Mexican restaurant on the square was awesome.

Home was difficult to find. A better description/directions would be helpful. 3 small steps up to the property were problematic. I arrived after dark. Attempting to get my suitcase up them, I fell and fractured my arm--surgery next week. Other than that, the home was clean and comfortable.

The house was very clean. It is just as described online. The host was very nice. The property is perfect for kids to run and play, also there is a lot of history on the property.

We really enjoyed our stay at the house in Chickamauga, which is located on the property of Lee and Gordon’s Mills, previously a grist mill. The entire property was immensely well kept, and the house that we stayed in was clean, comfortable, and supplied everything we could possibly need during our stay. We enjoyed being located on the outskirts of Chattanooga instead of in the center of a highly trafficked area. We were there for an extended week end to visit Delano, Tennessee, and ride the Hiawassee loop train. The house was conveniently located to everywhere we needed to go. There were nearby restaurants, grocery, and drug stores. We contacted the host one time and quickly received a response to our request. We will definitely reserve the house in the future for our Chattanooga visits.

I fell in love with the Lee and Gordon Mill. It was what sold me on the site. We reserved the Wallace Building for a wedding reception. Our staying in the Chickamauga Lee and Gordon’s Mills Historic Pierce House was absolutely perfect. The surrounding grounds were absolutely perfect. My daughter’s wedding took place at Cloudland Canyon State Park with guests staying in Chattanooga and Trenton. Chickamauga was a perfect middle spot for everyone. I would definitely recommend

Arrived in the evening after searching for this house for 15 minutes and finding ourselves in a sign posted, no parking spaced, mill/rec hall/ museum parking lot. Signs reading that the property has no parking after certain times and no fishing was allowed.Surely, this couldn't be the place. It was. Pitch black, my daughter finally found the entrance through her cell phone light as there were no lights on outside to indicate the house was actually attached to the old rundown museum. Despite, the safety aspect of our arrival we decided to enter the house/museum using a code that an amatuer could break in about 5 minutes time. Upon entering, it seemed rundown but ok at first. That is, until we started to look throughout. I'm not sure if this review will allow photos but the house, especially the bathrooms were broken, unsafe, and fixtures were installed incorrectly or broken entirely. We would have called the house manager but my husband started to have an allergy attack. He's allergic to dogs. Continuing on inspection of the house, we found paw prints on the upper pane of the front window, indicating someone had a large dog in the house while it was posted on VRBO as pet free.Needless to say, we opted not to stay on the property. Once, we knew pets had been there and allergies that would have made my husband miserable, it just wasn't an option to stay.

Location is great! House was very clean! Just as described! I would be great if the ensuite bedroom had a queen bed. Also, the motion activated light switch in the master bath is annoying. Thanks for a great stay!

Worked well for our group. Our children were in a soccer tournament in Chatanooga. This was more affordable than the hotel was and worked better.

This little house was perfect for our family trip to Ruby Falls and the Tennessee Aquarium! A pleasant 20 min drive from each wasn't bad at all. We found some good little local restaurants in the area and enjoyed walking down to the little river on the property. The house was clean and just the right size for our family of 6 (4 adults, a teen and a baby) My only suggestions would be to add some black out curtains for the bedrooms that face the road so headlights don't shine in at night. A full size coffee pot would be nice too. With 4 coffee drinkers in our family the little 4 cup pot wasn't ideal. The host was quick to respond and accommodating when I asked for an early check in since we were traveling with an infant. We would definitely stay here again.

My 14 year old son and I stayed here for his baseball tournament and it was fantastic! His tournament was in East Ridge at Camp Jordan Park which was 16 minutes away and the traffic was not bad at all. There is a great bbq restaurant just down the street, a food lion across the street, and so many food choices and a Walmart less than 15 minutes away. My son loves fishing so the creek was an added bonus. It is so quiet, peaceful, and clean. Everything was super nice and comfortable. The only suggestion I would have would be more outdoor lighting but that is literally it. This place is literally perfect and the host and maintenance guy are top notch!! You definitely will not be disappointed. It was our first time visiting Tennessee and we loved it so much :)

Pros: Very close to Chattanooga for Zoo, Aquarium, Creative Discovery, Hamilton Place Mall and other local activites. Most lengthy commute was 28 minutes. Well kept home, perfect AC, reliable hot water (3 people back to back), washing machine and dryer are huge and quiet, easy to find with paved driveway. Areas to Improve: Personally, we like firm beds. These beds are much softer, and have quite a bit of give to them (our wgt. ranges 160-215). Would have been nicer to have queen bed in the master bedroom, but I dont think the space would have alloted it. Remove wasps nest in corner of porch near patio side and under the patio. Two of us are highly allergic, so we weren't able to enjoy the side patio. Cons: The home sits next to small running creek which has vistors quite often, not big issue, but did have to double check our car doors were locked because some kids came up to the car trying to open the doors. So be mindful as parking is shared with visitors access.
