Chic Tucson Casita w/ Deck & Panoramic Views!

This casita provided the quintessential SW lodging experience.Located in the heart of Tanque Verde across from Agua Caliente regional park, you are immersed in a peaceful desert experience surrounded by views and often visited by javelinas, coyotes and other desert creatures.The casita comfortably accommodates 4 adults, having 2 separate bedrooms, comfortable beds, and just enough space with a layout that provides adequate privacy when needed.The kitchen had a nice open feel, with great light and views. Though not gourmet, the kitchen was plenty adequate for cooking a stay home meal in.The living space was cozy, with a gas fireplace to take the chill off cold mornings or nights and nice touches everywhere, especially the stained glass window with a desert scene that glowed at sunrise and sunset. Nice.Though not luxury, the 2 bathrooms were convenient, well appointed with colorful tile and as functional as needed.It was lovely to sit outside on the small covered patio facing south to take in the warm afternoon, or get away to some shade and Mountain View’s on the north side to cool down a bit.Overall, this casita left you with a feeling of contentment and satisfaction of Sonoran desert living!

From the desert location to the comfort of its interior, this casita was perfect for my husband and me. It's private yet accessible, well-appointed and the decor is wonderfully southwestern. We especially loved the ability to walk to Aqua Caliente park and enjoy the birding and lovely surrounds. Our host was responsive and helpful without being at all intrusive. We will be back!

Stayed for 4 nights as part of long US road trip. We loved the kitchen and deck area never needing to eat out suited us well.Exceptional views and serene surroundings.Easy walk along the road to the nearby Agua Caliente regional park which was lovely.We felt right at home here.

This was an absolutely fantastic rental! The location was spectacular — in the middle of the desert with great Mountain Views. The furnishings were top-notch with nice appearance and high quality. The kitchen was well-equipped. Parking was easy and convenient. The property is not super close to shopping and restaurants but we wanted to be close to a family member in the neighborhood and this place really fit the bill. Plus, these modern conveniences were only 10-15 minutes away. I highly recommend this rental!

I loved this home! It was beautiful, better and bigger then the pictures showed. The views were amazing as well. We also got to see a lot of local wildlife come visit their little oasis they set up.The only complaint I would have is that we didn't have all the kitchen equipment we were looking for.There was only one oven mitt we could find and it could use a few more baking trays/pizza pan. We did eat in though, so it was more of an us problem. Again, beautiful place i wish i could transplant here. Highly recommend.

We have stayed in various properties on this end of town , liked them all, but this one is one of the best if not the best. A must do is a walk to Agua Caliente park in the morning. Or a hike is Saguaro National park also just a few minutes away.

Really cool little place with beautiful views from every window. Nice to have 2 full baths and BRs. Close to the bottom of Mt. Lemmon and the park across the street.5 javelinas greeted us the first morning.

What a wonderfully appointed little escape. Everything that we could need was here. Beds were comfortable, and the house was so restful. We had a coyote guest come around every morning and the bird watching was fantastic. We truly enjoyed our time in this house and would love to visit again sometime.

This place is really pretty amazing. Very tastefully decorated and felt very private.

We loved staying here. The house is lovely, comfortable and as pretty as pictured. Owner was wonderful and accommodating. The surrounding landscape is pure desert with all the beauty of it at your doorstep. It was quiet and felt quite secluded. We’ll definitely be back!

Party of 3 from (IL & NJ residents) The Casita is absolutely beautiful! This well appointed home is located in the middle of nature. It is quiet and peaceful. It is down the street from the park, an hour drive to the top of Mt. Lemmon, and about 15 mins to get into Center of Tucson. There is hiking trails close by and the night sky is so clear. Elizabeth was an amazing host. Can’t wait to return!!
