Cherry Door Cottage -Enclosed Backyard, Walk Downtown, Hot Tub!

All was well but the access code was not properly set so a 30 minute delay getting that fixed . Hot tub was good, all appliances were fine. Rooms were good , no problems encountered.

Place was as specified and better. Location was incredible. Loved the private back patio and hot tub. We will be coming back

We enjoyed our stay. The hot tub was nice on a cool morning! The kitchen was well equipped and we appreciated the coffee pods and snacks. We walked to the farmers market and had fun shopping in town and walking to the lake.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was spacious enough for our extended family (4 kids and 5 adults) and felt clean and welcoming from the moment we arrived. We really appreciated all the thoughtful touches—like the coffee bar, beach towels, board games, toiletries, and the beautifully lit backyard with a hot tub. The kitchen was well-stocked, and we didn’t have to worry about basics like garbage bags, dishwasher pods, or laundry detergent. These small details made a big difference and allowed us to just relax and enjoy our time together. Highly recommend!

Really enjoyed our stay! Impressions overall by everyone in our group were that the home was clean, modern and lots of space to move around in for our group of 9. Property owners were very responsive to any questions we had. Highly recommend!

I stayed here with 7 of my friends for a girls trip. I picked this place because of the reviews and it was an excellent choice. Parking is not ideal downtown if you want to shop and eat but this house is in walking distance so it wasn’t an issue. The house is cozy, cute, and accommodating. My favorite part is the hot tub. We all can’t wait to come back!

Property is exactly what it says in the description. Clean and updated. Within a 5 minute walk to downtown South Haven and 10 minute walk to South Beach. Had a great experience!

This property was great for our group of 12!! It was very clean and Pree was so easy to reach/talk to! It was also a quick walk to the downtown area where parking is extremely hard to find so it was the ideal location to stay!! Would definitely stay here again!

We had a fantastic stay at this rental! The location was absolutely perfect—close to everything downtown and the beach. The home was spotless upon arrival and very well maintained. It was thoughtfully stocked with all the essential kitchen and bathroom supplies, which made settling in easy and comfortable. A big shout-out to the property manager Pree, who was incredibly kind and responsive. When we ran out of propane for the fire pit, they replaced it promptly. Highly recommend this property for a relaxing and well-supported stay!

We had a great stay at Cherry Door Cottage. The location was perfect - just a 5-10 minute walk to downtown and the beach. The house was very clean and kid friendly with toys and games. We hung out a lot in the back yard and made s’mores one of the nights! Great communication from our host leading up to and throughout the stay. I highly recommend this place and would definitely come back!!

We enjoyed our weekend. The rental was clean and provided all household needs. It was conveniently within walking distance of the downtown area.

The property was fantastic. Everything we needed was there. Clean and spacious for a large group. Great and quite location. Small tocuhes were greatly appreciated!

The property is just as pictured. It's a lovely home. There are sound machines, TVs, and warm fuzzy blankets, which are wonderful finishing touches to the cozy beds. We didn't use the kitchen except the cups for coffee, but there was a nice set up. The house has a super comfy couch and games to play. The smore bar was a very nice bonus feature. The host was incredibly thoughtful and helpful with communication. I have no doubt if there was an issue during your stay that it would be taken care of very promptly. Would very much recommend this property for small groups or families.

You know it’s a good trip when one of the kids is crying because they don’t want to leave! We had the BEST time in South Haven and this house was the perfect fit for our family! Plenty of rooms and beds for our group. The location was perfect! We walked downtown probably everyday, just a couple of blocks away. The kids (and adults) loves the hot tub! And the house had tons of toys, activities and even beach chairs! One our favorite things about the house was how stocked the kitchen was! We love to cook and sometimes vacation homes just don’t have much to work with! This house had everything!! Including a snow cone maker! :) Big hit with the kids! We also really appreciated the “extras.” Like the extra trash bags, dish washer tabs, toilet paper, etc… Again, some houses only give you the bare minimum. They even had “forget-me-not” baskets in case you forgot your toothbrush, toothpaste, etc. The host was amazing and quick to respond. The kids said, “This is our favorite house ever.” Which is saying something! The house was adorable, welcoming and just what we needed to have a fun and relaxing vacation! We will definitely be back! :)

House was in a great location where you could walk downtown and the beach. With all of the beach gear, we decided to drive. Owner was very receptive to anything we needed. Very happy with our stay.

My girlfriends and I stayed here for a weekend and the place was adorable! Had plenty of space for all of us and was walking distance to town and beach. House was as described and the host very communicative and friendly. When I contacted him about a minor issue he immediately took action and took care of it. I would most definitely stay again and would recommend.
