Cheerful Holiday House in Hunter Valley

The property has lots of space, with multiple areas to socialise both indoors and outdoors, which worked well for a large group.The communal pool could be described more clearly in the listing. The amenities section refers to both an “outdoor pool” and a “communal pool”, but there is only a communal pool.We were also surprised to find only two wine glasses provided, which felt odd given this is a wine region and the property accommodates up to 16 guests.On Christmas Day, the oven repeatedly tripped, and when we tried to call the host using the number in the welcome pack, the host wouldn’t take my call. We were instead prompted to submit queries via the app, after which the host contacted us by text. Overall, the Vrbo support experience felt quite poor.Prior to our stay, we experienced some personal emergencies that meant not all guests were able to travel. We contacted the host more than seven weeks in advance, but they were unwilling to offer any flexibility and directed us to Vrbo support, which felt impersonal and unhelpful.Despite these issues, we did enjoy the stay overall.

great location, all amenities easy to access and use, clear communication - overall great stay

Had some issues checking-in as the code wasn’t provided prior to our stay and had to contact the owner/host through a different platform to get the code. Besides that struggle, once we were in contact everything ran smoothly and the house was amazing!! Convenient location and had everything we needed

If you’re looking for a place that has it all then the cheerful holiday house is definitely the place to stay. It is secluded from main traffic which creates a nice private oasis. It is close to all the major wineries and the check in process was easy. Thank you so much!

Great property and very clean. Lots of space and well appointed kitchen. Would be great if some coffee pods were included for use in the coffee machine.Very responsive hosts and happy to help with additional requests. Will definitely consider this property for future Stayz

Overall the stay was fine. The place was comfortable and matched the description. The kitchen could be stocked better with essentials, which would make the stay more convenient.

Perfect Location, close to Vineyards in The Hunter Valley. House is huge, great for entertaining. Pool & Tennis Court close by. Great weekender!

Excellent family holiday property

delightful ,plenty of room , good area. 1 complaint, BBQ was dirty , we cleaned it started cooking ran out of gas and second tank was empty, finished cooking in the oven. Kitchen very well equipped and excellent linen.

This was an amazing stay. I am very impressed with the communication, it was absolutely flawless. Super impressed with the property and there was absolutely no false advertising. The cleanliness and essentials provided was not expected but was fantastic. I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
