Cheerful and Spacious Home //Sleeps 16

This is not the property we stayed in. It apparently had flooding, and we were moved to another property the day before. We were told we were getting a good deal as the new house rented at a higher rate, but was nowhere near as nice as the other was in picturse (obviously did not get to see it in person). We were told check in was at 4, and then told we could check in at 3, however upon arriving at 4pm, they were still cleaning and told us to come back in an hour. We had to then go find something to do for an hour, and actually did not get back until 6pm. At that time the house was clean, and sufficed for our 2 night stay. However, the host was very inconvenienced sounding about our complaints with both the move and not being able to check in on time. They told us they would make it better, and mentioned refunding the cleaning fee, but only refunded us 21 as a pro-rate for the 1 hour late the cleaning people left. Overall, the house we stayed in was mediocre at best. I appreciate them offering to refund us our money, however finding hotel rooms for 6 adults in Anchorage at the last minute sounded like a worse option than them placing us into another property.

Our original host had a computer glitch and had double booked our large group, but she had already found a solution that was simply perfect. She never made me doubt or panic. We were down the street a bit, but she fixed it all.

Irena was a great host. She allowed us to check in early. My family was visiting for my nephews graduation. They loved the space. When they are back in town we will definitely be renting this space again.

House was booked January 3 for our May 30 stay. Owner sent me a message on May 24 stating she had switched me to a “better” property. We have 14 in our group. The house we originally booked sleeps 16. The house she switched us to only sleeps 10. 4 adults had to sleep on a sectional sofa that did not expand to a bed. I filed a complaint with Vrbo. This “bucket list” trip turned into a nightmare at the very beginning of our vacation. Owner would not call me—she only sent text messages. She convinced herself that the new house was better—-it was NOT. It was a house that was not even listed on VRBO. I guess it was her house!!!! Unbelievable!!!

Poor Neighborhood!!!!! All stairs not good for older people or with disabilities

The inside is very nice. Irene has it decorated beautifully and well stocked. Everything we needed was there. Just be aware there are a number of stairs to navigate. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice interior. Neighborhood was ok. Good location close to shops/food/highway 1. Four bedrooms which made it nice for our families to have their own space. Host responded pretty quickly to questions.

This was a very clean, nicely appointed and comfortable rental perfect for larger families.

Lovely and spacious home with well equipped kitchen. Highly recommend!

Irene is great. Communicates. House was clean, great lay out.
