Flagstaff, Arizona
Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for fun. This is a multi level spacious house with a great view of the San Francisco Peaks.
A Master Bedroom with full Bath, 3 guest bedrooms, 2 full baths. Additional downstairs living room with tv. And a fully functional Kitchen.
This house is unique as it’s in a quiet neighborhood and within walking distance from trails and Northern Arizona museum and can accommodate a large family.
We have a huge backyard with open fire pit!
Pictures don't do it justice. Very well supplied. Super great host. It was perfect for our 3 days on the mountain.
There was plenty of space for seven of us to enjoy some quiet time after visiting several National Parks and Monuments. The house is close to downtown Flagstaff with its many awesome restaurants.
We just spent 3 nights at this property for a Snowbowl ski trip. I only look for properties on the North side of Flagstaff to minimize traffic issues on peak ski days. This property is 10 mins or so Northwest of downtown directly on the route to Snowbowl with a stop light providing direct access despite traffic to Highway 180. For summer visitors there appears to be plenty of open space, a park, tennis etc in the neighborhood. The property is older, but it has updates in all the key areas - the upstairs living room is a huge social space with a 75 TV, modern couch, foosball and bar. Big second story patio with views. There is another living room downstairs with another 75 TV, couch and ping pong as well as a special kids attic. The bathrooms have modern updates and all the kitchen and laundry appliances are new. I prefer modern and contemporary to rustic and 'cabin' feel and we were very happy here. With 2 king beds, a queen bed, two twins and a couple couches you can sleep on the property can easily fit a large family or a 3 couples and 4 teens / children. The kitchen was well stocked and can handle a group that size. The living area was also stocked with numerous board games and my family had a game of monopoly we will all remember when my 13 year old daughter viciously stomped on us all. I can't emphasize how much the social space of this property enhanced our trip. At a hotel we would have needed 3 cramped rooms and we would not have been able to cook the 2 dinners as a family or have 3 relaxing breakfasts nor have all that evening time in a big group. The hosts were friendly and responses were quick. I was a little hesitant to book as it wasn't an 'instant book' property but the hosts just wanted to inform us in the winter only 2 parking spots are available due to snow. We were booked within an hour or two of our request. I have stayed in several Flagstaff properties and would absolutely stay in this property again.
Parking was limited due to snow but that was communicated and expected.
My family and I enjoyed the spacious house over the holidays. There are 3 levels though - 2 of the bedrooms are down (converted garage), 1 on the main level, and 1 up. Foosball and table tennis kept the kids entertained. The entry doorlock is a challenge, especially in cold weather; you expect all of the numbers to show up to be able to enter the code but only a couple do that you have to touch to get the full keypad up. Thankfully the more technologically skilled generation figured it out! Nice location with kind neighbors. The kitchen is well equipped with pots but could use a few more dishes/serving bowls which the owner indicated they would be getting for future guests.
