Stayed Sep 16, 2025Condition of the outside surrounding the house was not acceptable. Cobwebs, dead bugs and overgrown gardens as you entered the property was not welcoming. Screen doors and windows including the sills were so dirty that you didn’t want to open them.

Stayed Jul 25, 2025We stayed here for a weekend and it was a great little getaway! My son enjoyed fishing in the backyard and I loved drinking my coffee on the back porch. The house was super cute and very clean! Definitely recommend checking this place out!

Stayed Jul 18, 2025Love the location. It was right on Lake Ontario and close to Hamlin Beach State Park where we were running a race. The lake view was incredible and we saw amazing sunsets and sunrises. The house was super cozy and welcoming. I would absolutely recommend this home and hope to stay here again in the future.

Stayed Oct 14, 2024the single beds were a little on the rough side as far as comfortable goes and the shower faucet was dripping constantly, but otherwise a very nice, clean and comfortable stay. Great view of the lake.

Stayed Sep 6, 2024We came for our honeymoon and couldn’t have been happier! There’s a reason why this little cottage is called “cheerful.” The cottage has wonderful windows overlooking greenery and the lake; the decor is real country-homey welcoming, the sunset views are spectacular. The place truly feels like a happy home. There are many small thoughtful touches and the property manager lives just up the road and was super friendly when he came to get the garbage and recyclables. Plenty of hot water for showers and all appliances working perfectly. Thank you Rob! You made our honeymoon so very fantastic!
