Stayed May 19, 2022We loved this property! The big living room with open kitchen and the deck with a great spot for watching sunset and enjoying dinner or a glass of wine. Everything that you would need was provided! Just a note that Glacier Point Rd is closed all summer for construction so the hikes that would usually be very convenient from this location were not open. But the house is a great, quiet get away from the hustle of the Village.

Stayed May 13, 2017Location, location, location! This beautiful home is a great place for all activities around Yosemite. By not having to enter the park each day, we saved a tremendous amount of time and were able to get to the amazing trails before the crowds. We had three adult couples who had plenty of room to either socialize together or separate for some alone time. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything you need and was generously supplied with things like, coffee, tea, washing and cooking supplies. The cabin was perfectly clean and inviting. When we arrived we couldn't find the washer and dryer so we called the provided number and someone quickly arrived. (They were behind a locked door.) While the gentleman was at the house, he also offered to cut some starter wood for us and showed us how to start a fire in the fireplace. This was a fabulous vacation in Yosemite which was complimented by our stay in this lovely home. I would highly recommend a stay here.

Stayed Jul 17, 2016We stayed in this cabin on our visit to Yosemite in July. We travel quite a bit as a family and I can honestly say this was one of the worst places we have stayed in. As we walked into the place, the first thing we noticed was that the carpet was both old and very dirty. The irony was there was a sign asking for us to take off our shoes and my 10 year old asked Mom, do I have to remove my shoes as this carpet looks filthy? Okay, when a 10 year old notices, its really bad. The rest of the cabin was in the same very run down shape. My description would be old and filthy for nearly everything. There was a sitting area upstairs where the seats actually had large black stains. What they do not tell you on the rental description is this cabin is literally connected to another cabin. There were people renting the other side and we could here them through the walls. Also, they were out on the deck the same time we were so there was literally no privacy inside or out of the house. Also, the cabin itself is located in the middle of windy neighborhood (there is a road in the front and back) so you can constantly hear all of the cars coming in and out of the neighborhood. Relative to the playroom both the paddles and balls on the ping pong table were so damaged, it made it unusable. The foosball table is also in poor shape. My three sons tried it the first day and then abandoned the playroom. We have rented probably over a hundred VRBO places and this is the first one I would say needs to be removed from being allowed as a rental. The joke was that they actually advertised it as upscale.
