The home was clean but was not well stocked for guests. The filter on the refrigerator need to be changed, so, we were unable to get ice or water from the fridge. There were no extra trash bags for the kitchen, half a roll or paper towels and only one tablet for the dishwasher. There were two cans of coffee by the machine but were empty. The most disappointing thing was the lack of hot water. You could only get about a two minute shower before the water turned ice cold. The views from the deck of the setting sun each night was fantastic!! It was very quiet and peaceful, we would probably return but bring more supplies with us since we had to find a store for paper towels and dishwasher tablets. Would be a fantastic place to visit with children during the summer. Thank you,

A nice property, beautiful view, easy access to the lake, kitchen had everything we needed. Hangers in closets would have been nice. Not aware until check in that kids could not use WiFi for gaming, that was disappointing. But overall a really nice vacation for family. The big round table was great for meals and just catching up! Would recommend this property!

We had an absolutely incredible stay at this lakefront property—truly a vacation we’ll never forget. The memories we made here will stick with us and our kids forever. It was the perfect setting to bring everyone closer together, with a peaceful lakefront view that made every moment feel special.I’ll admit, the owner’s initial tone and strict rules made me a little nervous about what to expect when we arrived. But once we settled in, it became clear that the high standards are simply a reflection of how much pride and care he puts into maintaining such a beautiful home. We took great care of the property and had no issues at all.The location couldn’t have been more ideal. Our elderly parents were able to comfortably sit on the deck and watch the kids swimming in the lake just below—a priceless gift. We rented a pontoon boat from Prizer Point just minutes away and got jet skis from Barkley Watersports for even more lake fun. The Fishing Hole restaurant down the road had the best breakfast—don’t miss it!The house itself was cozy, clean, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, and we loved cooking meals out on the deck while enjoying both sunshine and peaceful rain showers. The sunsets over the lake were nothing short of breathtaking. The provided kayaks were awesome addition!Highly recommend this property for families looking to relax, reconnect, and make lasting memories.

We had the best time!!! Our 2nd stay at the paddle house!!! The host is amazing and communication is awesome. We had some rain during our stay but with the covered dock didn’t stop us from fishing and enjoying the view, not to mention the beautiful home with a enough room for all the silly games we brought to play with the kids. Definitely hope this home is available to us next year it is perfect!!!!

We've been spending our Thanksgiving Holiday with friends in the Cadiz area for over 10 years. We have finally found a place that we will seek out to use again next year.The home was clean, well stocked, and delightful for our group.

We had a wonderful weekend with our family in this home. The split floorplan was perfect for our family and the kids loved the bunk room. The large deck with the view overlooking the lake was everyones favorite spot. Five stars all around for this home!

Great house and great location. My mom went antique shopping in downtown Cadiz and my dad caught fish off the dock. The deck was a good place to watch the sunsets and relax. Wonderful trip!

Very conveniently located. It was very clean and had all the amenities that we needed. We would book again if we are planning a trip to Lake Barkley.

The home is beautiful and tastefully decorated, the boat dock made it very convenient! Will want to stay here over and over again!

The location was spot on for my family!!! Sits in a cove so kids could get lots of water time without all the boat traffic. Close enough to prizer point and a small little store not far. The house was clean loved all the lake decor. Peter was a great host and responded quickly to any questions I had!!! Great mini vacatiin for me and my family!!!

This house was great in so many ways. Right on the water, great fishing from the dock, swimming, kayaking and such a quiet inlet. Inside was a great bedroom for the children and space around the table for meals and games. House was spotless.
