Such a comfortable house with a huge yard! Spent some afternoons lying on a blanket in the yard watching the wild turkeys. It was super quick to get into town. You can hear the train whistle from the house. Will return!

We had a wonderful stay at this charming farmhouse in Durango! The home was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. We especially loved the peaceful setting—beautiful views, quiet mornings, and plenty of space to unwind. The location was perfect for exploring the area, including the Durango & Silverton train ride and nearby hiking trails. Our hosts were kind and responsive. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with a touch of charm!

The Farmhouse was as advertised. Our family (2 adults, 3 kids, & 1 labradoodle) spent the holidays in Durango and the Farmhouse delivered a white Christmas. We had plenty of room and the little ones enjoyed the large yard and the teenager enjoyed their own space and said the property was significantly better than a hotel. The location was great, close to downtown but removed enough to feel like we were at a country getaway. We would recommend to anyone looking for a quaint and rustic home with lots of character.

A perfect place to stay and explore the Durango area! Wonderful farmhouse close to downtown Durango that can be used as a home base to see Mesa Verde and all the other places to visit in the area. We loved hearing the Durango/Silverton train whistle echo across the property and the wild turkeys that came though most mornings. Magical place!

Very nice home. We loved having the fireplace in the living room for a couple of rainy days and chilly evenings. The location was perfect for viewing deer, turkeys and the occasional fox.

Its a beautiful area and the owner was right on top of responding to my messages. The only thing that i am bummed about was we drove 19 hrs and were counting on the hot tub to relax in only to get there and see a sign that said Hot tub out of commission. The house was clean and nicely decorated and no complaints there accept we did have to wash the dishes before we could use them. Not sure if they had been in dishwasher and didn't get ran and put away mistakenly. Anyway, all in all it was a nice place with beautiful scenery.

The farmhouse is all we hoped for, and the setting is beautiful in the most Southwesternly way possible, looking out on the Animas River Valley with its Colorado-red cliffs and open-to-the-universe skies. The host is near enough to be honestly attentive to all we needed.

The setting was beautiful. The king bed was very comfortable. It was a little warm, but I knew before hand there was no air conditioning. It was very Victorian, quaint decorations and lots of decorative pillows :). I had my dog with me, coming from Phoenix she loved the grass!! It was a perfect starting point to everything we wanted to do.

Comfortable, rustic farmhouse that is conveniently located minutes from downtown Durango. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen well stocked, and the decor is quaint. The only con was that when the windows were opened in the evenings to cool the house down there was road noise. This would not be an issue in cooler or winter months.
