Charming town house in the historic center of Beaufort

Nice neighborhood, plenty of room and close to Parris Island

Parking was not so great

Home was not ready when we arrived later than anticipated, not early. Slept on towels we found in a closet. No response when messaging owner. Housekeeping came in next day and said it's like this all the time. Owner does not realize when home is booked and then let's her know a day late. Was told to park in a certain spot but someone was parked there the second day. No response again from owner when letting her know. Great location though and quiet.

Very quiet and convenient to town and Parris Island. Many good restaurants in close proximity.

The location was unbeatable. Just across from Saint Helena‘s church. Just blocks from the riverfront. And also just blocks from walking to see beautiful views and beautiful old homes in the neighborhood. If your focus is primarily on location, this is the place for you! On the downside, don’t expect to get much out of the televisions. There were three remotes for each and nothing worked. DIRECTV kept saying it didn’t have a signal, and despite contacting the host that never changed. There was a remote that you could supposedly access Netflix And it didn’t work. I just used my computer the whole time to stream things. I also think pet owners should take note that the yard has multiple areas where your pets can escape. Thankfully I was paying attention because I found my two dogs out front in the street when I walked away from them in the yard for a couple of minutes. There is a hole in the fence that allows access to the neighbors yard, which is unfenced and the can escape from there. There are also many areas where dogs can disappear beneath the home. It appears that they can then exit from underneath the house out under the front stairs and escape that way as well. Although I didn’t crawl around to see if that was the way they got out still, a reliable backyard was important to me for my dogs, so that was a little frustrating. That being said, though, I would likely return to this home simply because the location is perfect.

Location, location, location! Walking distance to historic downtown, waterfront, churches, etc. If available we will stay here again.

Shopping and walking around was so fun - great area and FINDERS KEEPERS is the BEST!! Even just for postcards!!

Very convenient to Bay street in downtown Beaufort.

Great location, quiet neighborhood.

Perfect location if you are looking for a place downtown Beaufort that you can walk to Bay Street to shop and eat. It's a quiet area so you can relax while at the home. It had everything you would need while you are away. The washer and dryer was nice so we were able to head home with clean clothes.

Our stay at this property was excellent. The house was exactly as listed. Great location and owner was excellent and very responsive to our needs!

Great location, close to everything. Property is older and desperately needs some renovations. It was not properly cleaned up on arrival however, the owner called immediately upon voicing our concerns. She offered to remedy the situation the next day and provided us a small credit for our inconvenience.

My family really liked the house. It was roomy for everyone to be comfortable.

Everything was good location was great. The sinks upstairs are very slow draining and we had some trouble with the TV but we figured that out right away. The downstairs bedroom has a fireplace with a brick that we kept running into the room is quite small, but it worked pretty well for our family.

Property owner was not reachable by myself or VRBO customer support. Was left stranded. VEBO refunded the stay and had to find new accommodations.

It was a nice place to stay. The house was clean, but some of the pots and frying pans(there wasn't a lg one) desperately need to replaced. The beds were comfortable. However the listing needs to be updated to let potential renter know that the downstairs bed is especially high as to have to use a step to get in. I was worried about my elderly father using. Very quiet neighborhood and beautiful area, close to the historical district. Less than a 2 minute drive. Definitely would stay again.
