Charming & Spacious Midtown Home

We truly enjoyed our stay at the house in Memphis during our week at the convention. The location was extremely close and convenient, which made getting back and forth so easy. The home was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. Overall, it was a great experience and we would definitely stay there again.

Plus: A/C works well, location ideal for our needs.Minuses: As soon as I walked in, a smoke detector was chirping approximately every 20 seconds. I had to disconnect it. I reconnected it right before checkout.Light in hallway and laundry room would “strobe” and not stay on continuously Communication with host fair to poor. I had issues with a power failure during a thunderstorm, we had no power for over 24 hours. Not his fault, but I provided him my cell phone number to communicate. He insisted on communicating through VRBO messenger app. It was slow and frustrating.I did not receive check in instructions until an hour after check in time and only when I asked for them, including door code and location of keys. No check out instructions, but I did the usual I do at other VRBO properties, which seemed to be sufficient.There was also a medium size limb laying on the power lines to the house, causing a sag in them. This needs to be rectified, it may bring down lines. Back door stairs are crumbled and rotted, making them unusable.

Location was close to practically everything you could need. Check in (& out) was easy, hosts communicated quickly, roomie house for our family visit, and the neighborhood was good. Appreciated being able to bring our dog too, thank you!

Great stay in Memphis. Close to downtown, quiet neighborhood. Fenced in backyard was great for our two dogs. Remodeled and clean.

Communications was always prompt and courteous! Very close to the zoo, St Jude, and Downtown. The layout of the house is great and is very roomy. Some of the furniture needs to be replaced. The sofa looks ok but was extremely uncomfortable! Even working with the host, could not get the tvs to work but we were give a courtesy refund for the inconvenience. We would recommend this property to others.

The home is in a safe neighborhood and is family friendly. The home matches the description of the photos shown. The only issue was the kitchen sink leaking water on the floor. Be sure to check that if you're visiting. My family and I would stay there again.

Very updated, nicely decorated, clean home with ample room space. The location was great on a nice street. Our host always responded to any questions in a timely manner. Only suggestion would be to add an armchair in the living room as sitting was limited for five people. Thanks for a nice stay.

Loved it pics make it seem smaller than it was. Neighborhood quiet.
