Charming Riverfront Retreat in Monticello!

Cute house, very busy road in front so a little noisy. Very convenient to everything within minutes to that was great. Has just about everything you need and you couldn’t beat the view off the deck. I wish there would have been better access to the River and emailing communication with the host is poor. Otherwise we had a good stay and would probably rent again.

Absolutely beautiful. Gorgeous lake view. Clean and well maintained. They thought of everything. Little extras. Extra toiletries, first aid supplies, board games, a few toys for the kids. Close to shopping, the bait shop, and Indiana Beach.

We loved this property. It is charming, comfortable, clean and since we were there right before Christmas, it was decorated perfectly with a tree and festive holiday additions in every room. The view of the lake is gorgeous!

Great house! The place was SPOTLESSLY clean. House was well stocked with anything we could have needed. Beautiful view from the deck. We saw deer and wild turkeys. Great place to stay!

I give this property two separate ratings: 1) The house including the layout, cleanliness, deck, view, etc was a 10. The description about this property is spot on and the owner did a nice job of adding important features like solid doors and locks, newer appliances, very clean, sturdy and huge deck and providing a very livable house. 2) The location rates a 2. Some people may not be bothered by traffic noise but we were looking for a tranquil, peaceful and quiet place to unwind. Because a major two lane road flows right in front of the house there is almost a constant stream of cars going by. When you're on the deck, you hear every car and truck. If you have friends there with lots of chatter this may not be a big deal. If you're wanting to feel like you're in nature, the traffic noise will ruin that feeling. Overall, a nice house to rent with beautiful views just not a quiet place to relax.

I had an overall good experience. I'd recommend this place if you're needing a place in the area.

We really enjoyed our stay at your house on the river! The home was very clean, beds were comfortable and the view was so peaceful! The family really enjoyed fishing and the set-up even allowed a toddler to run around and play in the backyard! Everything was very spacious for us and we had everything we needed! Its a beautifuly kept home with amazing fishing, very close to 2 beautiful golf courses and Indiana beach, For future advice there will be a lot of bugs but only at night so keep the doors closed or the light on the inside off if your going to have a fire

It was a perfect place to stay away from the hub bub of graduation at Purdue. Quiet and relaxing after long days of graduation and parties. Loved the fishing off the pier and the large outdoor deck overlooking the river. Much easier for the 85 yo mother/grandmother to enjoy her grand daughter’s graduation from Pharmacy school. Her pride and joy.

We had a great stay. The house was very clean and inviting. The deck and view were great! We had a great time and would definitely book again.

We stayed for a week, while visiting Indiana Beach. What an amazing house! Every need was catered for with a very well stocked house. Great deck at the back for early morning coffee and sundowners after a long, hot day! Comfortable and big enough for our whole family! It felt like being home- a very stylish home! We will definitely be back!

Our family had a wonderful time staying here. The backyard has stunning views of the Tippecanoe River. My boys had so much fun fishing from their dock and they caught a lot of fish too. The house is beautifully decorated, clean and cozy. I really enjoyed relaxing in the hammock in the backyard while looking out at the river. We liked how the house is located close to Indiana Beach park, the bait shop and restaurants. Thanks for letting us stay in your beautiful home. We're hoping to be back soon.
