Stayed Aug 16, 2025Really enjoyed our stay great area for boating, fishing, eating, and shopping. Canel provides excellent protection for your boat and has easy access to Burt Lake, Mullet Lake and beyond. Interior house cleaning was excellent. Dwelling could use a little handyman help in inside (light above vanity missing, toilet seats lose (we tightened), etc. Outside needs some cleaning but is very nice.

Stayed Jul 26, 2025Our only complaint is that the landscaping in the front of the house could be done. Just weeds throughout the front of the house. It would be better for the neighborhood look as well. Other than that, great location and house.

Stayed Jul 10, 2025We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The home is exactly what the pictures show. It was clean, has comfortable beds, nicely updated bathrooms and had everything we needed. Docking space was plenty for a 24ft tritoon. Loved having easy access to the boat. Kris responded quickly to questions. The neighbors were also very friendly. We would definitely stay here again!

Stayed Jun 19, 2025The property was clean. Adequate bedding/towels. Nice neighborhood. We loved having a place for our pontoon. The yard/landscaping could use some work. Unfortunately it was in the 90’s during our visit and the house has no AC.

Stayed Aug 16, 2024Very cute place on the canal. Everything was clean, beds were comfortable, and they even had some laudry detergent. Location was excellent. It was close to town and Indian River Marina.

Stayed Jul 20, 2024The house is nice. Upgrades to the bed sizes would be great. And the outside landscaping Is all weeds, including when you walk to the front door. Removal of all landscaping would look nicer than the weeds. Great location and communication with the owner.

Stayed Jul 10, 2024It was in a good location. Had some great space but couldn't use Four Seasons room with carpet and the bedrooms I kept my shoes on and did not let my luggage sit on the floor. The pet odor was very intense. I'm glad I didn't bring my pet. He does not have accidents but he would have learned some bad habits there. I hate to leave a bad review but I do not want anyone else to experience what we did. Just a couple other minor issues like no hooks in the bathroom and the screen door knob falling apart. Most of the smoke alarms have been removed. The TV in the bedroom didn't work because the remote batteries were very corroded.

Stayed Jul 3, 2024We stayed over the long 4th of July weekend and the house served the purpose we were looking for. It has an amazing backyard with deck and boat dock, making it a great location! I feel the home is in need of several updates/upgrades along with a few minor issues that we discussed with the owner. Friendly neighbors, easy to launch boat at Indian River Marina, which is within walking distance.
