Charming OCEANSIDE Cottage Steps from the Beach in South Nags Head

Loved the short walk to the beach, reliable Wi-Fi, comfortable furniture, well stocked kitchen, beach decor, dreamy front porch, easy communication with the host, easy access to area shopping and restaurants yet quiet area, and lots of books and games to choose from.

Sugaree was a great relaxing few days for our family! We enjoyed many walks along the beach just stepa from Sugaree! The house had all the things you could every want! I especially enjoyed the full size washer and dryer!

Tyler was an excellent host. Quick to answer and checked in to make sure all was well. The house was in a great location and the view from the upper deck is amazing both for sunrise and sunset. The beach is also great for shelling. All in all it was a great experience!

I enjoy going to the Outer Banks off season when it's a bit cooler and there are a lot less people. We wanted to be able to have a house close to the beach that also provided some privacy and we wanted a hot tub. In addition, we require a full kitchen because my son has allergies so we can't go to restaurants. I have to cook all of our meals.This was a lovely home. We were able to spend some wonderful time as a family. We were close enough to some of the attractions to be able to go to the aquarium, jockey's ridge, and the wright brothers. There are so several yarn stores in the area which is nice for my daughter and I. The kitchen is well stocked. It had enough pots and pans, cookie sheets and other items so we were able to make our desired meals. All in all we had a delightful time and are even looking at staying here again next year.

This was a great place to stay. We had such a good time. The beds were comfortable. The hot tub was amazing. The host was also very friendly and helpful. We would love to rent this place again sometime in the summer! Thanks again.

The cottage is beautifully decorated and offers gorgeous views from the top deck. It's close to the beach and had plenty of chairs for guests to use. I loved the stocked kitchen and adorable sun room.

Thanks for a short but great stay at your property. The two days away were short but sweet, and your beach house was warm and welcoming. Waves, clear skies, and watching stars in the whirlpool.

First time at the beach with our girls. House had plenty of room.for the 5 of us, nice view of sunrise over the ocean and sunset aboe the sound from the upper deck. The girls made quick friends with the dolls and stuffed animals in the house. We were on the beach in 2 minutes from the front door, within walking distance down the beach to the fishing pier and short drive to all amenities, but able to stay secluded out of the traffic.

The property was well maintained and clean. A close walk to the beach.

Check in and out was super easy.Host was super responsive.House was super clean and perfect for us.Would recommend to all and especially for families with young kids!

Great place to stay! The house was clean and comfortable. The outside shower was nice for cleaning off sand after being at the beach. The owner responded quickly with any questions we had and was very nice. Just a few houses from the beach. The short walk was nice and easy to take chairs and toys to the beach. Located near many restaurants and short distance to wildlife refuges and lighthouses.

Sugaree is one of my family’s favorite places in the world. The house is always perfectly clean and appointed and comfortable, and Tyler is an incredible and responsive host. This was our second year here and we will be back next year! Thanks for always making it such a great stay!

We had 6 adults and 2 children for our stay and we fit comfortably! The kitchen was well stocked. Great views of the ocean from the upper deck! The beach was a minute walk from the cottage. Tyler was great at communicating with information that we would need. We would definitely stay at Sugaree again!

My family and I had the best week staying at Sugaree! The property was situated right near the beach, which was great for us since we have small children and needed to run back and forth at times. The property was clean, had everything we needed and comfortable for our group. Would absolutely recommend to anyone staying in OBX!

One floor with sleeping and living was a plus. Screened porch was great for small kids.

Tyler was a wonderful host, making sure we had everything we needed for our stay. The house and the location were superb. I will happily stay at this property again if we head out to the outter banks.

Absolutely best beach house to stay in. One minute walk to the beach. We had the whole beach to ourselves. Close to everything but hardly saw anyone near the beach. Beach house was super clean!!!

Very nice clean rental, neighbors all very nice as well. Within short driving distance of hustle and bustle of all kinds of fun activities but far enough away for the relaxing quiet. Will definitely be back. Amazing host responds almost instantly of any questions. Also rental is very spacious with everything you need.

My 2 best girlfriends and I haven’t had a chance to get together in 3 years. Finding the time, a great location and careers are challenging to work around. All of us have fond memories of our parents taking us as young children to this area for beach trips. We loved talking about our unique adventures as children, before we met in Jr Highschool. Now we have amazing new memories of our time together. This property is beautifully located away from the busy commercial areas of OBX but close enough to access them by car or bike ride. The house is very close to the beach and there is a public access staircase over the sand dune for easy access. I would LOVE to stay here again in the future and bring my family to hang out with their ‘Aunts’.

Extremely clean and convenient, quiet neighborhood steps from the beach, very comfortable spot for my 2 sisters and I, definitely would stay again.

The property is in a very good location. Close to shopping and restaurants. Super close to the beach. We had an enjoyable time.

The house was great. Perfect location. We did so much OBX had to offer. The dunes, the beach, the lighthouse, restaurants, putt putt, golf, we played board games and used the hot tub, chairs, surfboards and sand toys that were at the property Everything was exceptional! The only thing i would recommend is supplying bath towels, trashbags, toilet paper and extra dish detergent. We had to go get these items after we arrived there. Other than that, it was perfect. We would go back to this house again!! So great! , Adventure Flight, put putt

This cottage was very clean and well maintained. This is probably the cleanest and best maintained property that I have vacationed at. Usually appliances do not work or are dirty, not so at Sugaree. Location was closer to the beach than we expected. We had two 4 yr olds and one limited mobility adult in our group. They had no issues with short walk to beach. Little ones loved the toy basket--thankyou! Peaceful neighborhood with good sunrise and sunsets from upper deck. We would choose this charming cottage again.

We had an amazing time staying here, the owners were incredibly helpful and the home is gorgeous! Having the combination of the beach only steps away and the hot tub available on the deck made for a wonderfully relaxing vacation. We will definitely be trying to return ASAP!

We truly enjoyed our stay. The property was very clean and had great views from every deck. During a rainstorm, we were able to enjoy the porch which offered views of the beach and a cool comfortable place to hang out. The cottage is very close to the beach making it easily accessible. We will definitely be back.

Very nice and quite house near to the beach - we were very happy during our stay having found this oceanside cottage - everything is ok and in best order.

Sugaree is our go-to property when looking to book in the OBX. Quiet location steps from the beach, near shopping, historic sites, and restaurants. The home is super clean with games for all ages for those rainy days, well stocked pantry, great layout to give teens their space. Host answered questions quickly and gave suggestions for activities and eating in the area.

Sugaree was the perfect spot for our family of four! Exactly as pictured, perfectly clean, walking distance to the beach! We really couldn’t have asked for anything more. Our hosts were so friendly and responsive and we absolutely can’t wait to go back! Thank you for the memories!

We had a wonderful week of relaxation and family time. The close walk was perfect and our three year old daughter loved the addition of toys and the loft space! The house was clean and safe. The street was quiet and of course the beach was perfect!

Had a great time even with a tropical storm hitting while we were there. Super convenient access to the beach. There is a lifeguard station right at the beach access point so that's a bonus for piece of mind especially if you have kids. The beach never gets crowded. The house was just the right size for our family of 5, it was clean and exactly as described. Good communication with the owner, Tyler. Thank you!
