Lovely home. Everything was clean and the house was comfortable.
This house was so comfortable and beautiful. Felt right at home. The location was perfect for our needs. The setting was beautiful and quiet. Very clean upon arrival. I usually feel compelled to wipe everything down at a rental house, but this place FELT clean and it was unnecessary to do anything. Thank you for your hospitality! We all enjoyed the home very much.
Serene Mountain Retreat enabled our family to enjoy a relaxing time together in beautiful surroundings!
The house was perfect and we had a great vacation!
My family really enjoyed our stay. We came to spend time with family that lives local. But we all really enjoyed our stay in this lovely house. It is an absolutely beautiful piece of property, with great views from the front porch.

This is a wonderful home for all to enjoy. It exceeded our expectations and we hated to leave. It offers all the comforts of home and made our week's vacation a perfect respite. We ate most of our meals there as the kitchen was so well equipped and we didn't want to leave such a lovely environment. All of the personal art work and history of the family gave us a sense of belonging rather than visiting. We hope to return to this beautiful house again. The only improvement would be the comfort of the bedding. The downstairs bed needs a new mattress! The queen bed upstairs has a problem with the springs as well as one of the twin beds upstairs. If these issues are corrected, it offers a perfect experience!!
The house was everything anyone could want for a family retreat in the mountains. It was immaculate and very well furnished and stocked. The 360 degree photos are spot on for what was actually there. Our three teens really enjoyed having the lower bedroom and living room as their space and made good use of the piano and table for puzzles. With 9 in the house, we were never crowded. Waynesville downtown is about 5 miles away, while grocery stores and restaurants are even closer. And yet there is the feeling that you are in a true mountain hide-away. Easy drives to the Parkway and many great points of interest. We would certainly book this again.
