Fabulous location for exploring The Leelanau area, and walkable to two incredible restaurants. The house needs some updates, and the AC situation makes the climate control challenging- especially upstairs.

Charming house in beautiful vacation location. We found everything we needed at the house and enjoyed the easy access to Glen Lake, Sleeping Bear Dunes and Lake Michigan. Everything was very clean. My kids loved the jet tub, and I especially appreciated the dustbuster for clearing my car of beach sand. My only (slightly) negative feedback for others is that this house is probably not the best for tall individuals. The two bedrooms upstairs have very low clearance on the light fixtures/fans and would not have been a good fit if I had been traveling with my taller family members. For my short family, it worked out just fine.

This house is in a perfect spot for everything. The house is clean but old and outdated. Plenty of room in the house.

Unfortunately the house was not cleaned prior to our arrival. Since we were given a refund on our cleaning fee, I won’t get into detail. The upstairs AC units are fans, not AC. The yard service came early in the morning and we were at the kitchen table with one of the men with a leaf blower 5 ft from us looking in. Perhaps hacevy come between check out and check in.Other than this, the house was quaint with a lot if character. We enjoyed the park nearby with the beautiful sunset views. If the house was cleaned and the check in was easier I’d definitely give it a better rating. Photos were sent to VRBO so I’m hopeful the house was cleaned’

I want to start off by saying we absolutely loved the house and I'd love to give it a higher rating. Unfortunately, the house was not cleaned prior to our arrival. Vacasa did offer to send someone over, but it was later and we were tired. I also was not comfortable having someone come in while we were not there with all of our belongings. They did refund our cleaning fee (thank you Jennifer!), so I will not go into detail. I sent pictures of what the house looked liked and what needed to be done, so hopefully it will be fixed before the next guest. When we arrived, the passkey did not work and there were no instructions on how to use it. This was our 4th VRBO, and they are all different. We had to call several people. The first person said to look for the lockbox, which there wasn't one. The last person was able to help (again, thank you Jennifer!). I would add that the upstairs window units are not AC, they are fans. This should be fixed in the description. On our last morning the yard crew came to cut the grass. I didn't enjoy sitting at the table watching someone looking at me with a leaf blower 5 feet away. They should come between check out and check in time. If these things could be fixed, I would absolutely give it a 5 star rating.

We really enjoyed this quaint and charming cottage. Nicely decorated and well equipped with everything we needed. There is no central AC - just a window unit on the upper level but there were lots of fans and were able to keep the cottage cool. We loved being so close to Sleeping bear dunes and all the restaurants and shops in Glen Arbor.

The location of the property was fantastic. A quick walk across the street allowed us access to Glen Lake. Also, just a five minute drive into Glen Arbor.

This house was perfect! The best location for dunes, food, and kayaking. Park right across the street, perfect for sunset views.

We are family of 5 (3 teenagers) and there was plenty of room for everybody. The house was clean when we got there but it's very outdated and most doors were hard and noisy to close. We also encountered a lot of mosquito sized bugs in the house especially at night around the lights, which were sometimes hard to turn on because the switches were confusing and often didn't turn the lamps on. The AC units upstairs were loud and there were several light fixtures/fans that were in places you could easily hit your head (and we did!). The location of the home was really great - close to the national park and other things to see and do and a short walk to the lake and park. We appreciated the dishwasher and large smart TV and we found everything in the home worked.
