Charming, Historic Home Minutes from Magnolia

Waco Charming House is a lovely, well decorated, tech advanced, well equipped, comfortable residence. The living room was cozy to watch the smart television. Although I brought my own laundry detergent, the house offered detergent pods, fabric softener and dryer sheets. The washer and dryer worked like a dream. The master bedroom was roomy and comfortable. The street the home is located on is very dark and made walking from the car to the front porch a little dangerous with regards to footing and stepping from the street to the sidewalk grassy area. Parking is on the street in front of the house. When the neighbor across the street parked his truck in front of his home it created a bottle neck on the street. Cars driving by drove very close to my vehicle as they passed by. The only complaint I would voice is the noise from the traffic. The home is located on a side street, but the amount of cars driving by the house was astonishing. A neighbor has a motorcycle and rode up and down the street for a minimum of half an hour. I was awakened by the sound of motorcycles, trucks and cars at 6:15a. The home is lovely, comfortable, well supplied but not quiet.

The house was clean.The internet is terrible. It kept losing service throughout our stay. On our last day there, the lock box didn’t work. I’m not sure if it was because of the internet. We tried contacting the host by calling the two phone numbers they left in the guest book and also via the VRBO app. We did not hear from anyone for over 6 hours! We called and texted and were extremely annoyed that this was how we had to spend our last day there after only staying there for five days. I thought this was unacceptable. If you are going to be a host, then you need to be responsive to the people who have paid you for their stay.

The owner was really quick to address our questions and issues. The place is lovely and clean.

Very cute and cozy! Is on kind of a busy street and you have to park on this street. Otherwise the home itself was lovely.

The host was great at communicating and had everything laid out in their guide book in great detail. The house was not as nice as the photos looked. The windows are very thin and you could hear everything happening outside (like the neighbors dog all night long). The was clean but not well maintained.

The house is cute, cozy and the full size washer and dryer are fantastic. She had it decorated so cute for Christmas. The communication from the host was great. We had an emergency incident and she was very understanding and accommodating.

Close to Magnolia and downtown Waco. Very cozy and comfortable home that is very clean. Definitely would stay again!

It was a lovely home that was comfortable and charming. It was close to eateries & the Silos.

Had a very nice atay. Really enjoyed the property and our time in WACO.

The proximity of this home worked very well for us during our stay. There is no driveway to park in but plenty of street parking right in front of the house. We didn't actually spend much time in the house other than sleeping and getting ready. The owners carried the decorating theme throughout the whole house. There was plenty of hot water for 3 daily back-to-back showers. Plenty of towels and the sheets were very new looking and clean. The owner was very responsive and we had no issues.

The host responds immediately, everything works as it should, and the location is fantastic. We will definitely return.

We are 2 moms with 3 kids each in need of a weekend getaway and this was the perfect place to spend it. This house was warm and cozy from the second you walked in. It was all things girly which we loved. Very close to magnolia!

We did not actually stay and went to a hotel due to bedding not having been changed and general uncleanliness. The homeowner was very responsive and apologetic. She had paid for a “deep clean” 2 days prior to our check in. She did not get the services she paid for.

Loved the house, perfect for our family of 4. Good location close enough to downtown.

We came to Waco to visit the Silos at Magnolia. This house was close, quiet and peaceful. Will stay here again for sure!

Neighborhood was older, curb appeal of house was not as shown on picture. The interior of the house was very clean and cute but the floors were uneven, and there was no water pressure which made showering challenging. I have stayed at many VRBOs so I was surprised to be asked to strip my bed, collect my towels and place them by the washing machine, empty the trashes and put in garbage can outside; isn’t this what the cleaning fee for? Also not all of the electrical outlets work, there are power cords in every room to assist with plugging in devices to the outlets that did work but I was not comfortable doing this as I did not feel it was safe.

Overall the property was great. Good location to lots of the things we wanted to do. Close to Magnolia Market and shoppes on Austin and Franklin Ave. Great local food options and friendly people.

House was cute and perfect for our weekend trip. We did have a TV glitch but was easily resolved and communication was smooth and fast. Other than that we had a great time. No major issues and couldn’t have asked for better accommodations

great little house very comfortable close to everything

The house is in a very run down neighborhood. Upon entering the house we noticed roaches all over the house. The house was very dirty and we had to take our items in and out each day. Wayeout

Home was very charming and full of all the amenities. However, neighborhood is quite busy and main street in front of home, Morrow Ave., has constant traffic on it and people speed through the neighborhood early in the morning and late at night. Only place to park your vehicle is on the street, so we made the decision to park on the side street of the house to avoid any issues. This was not disclosed in any of the comments, but future renters should be aware in case you are expecting a quite neighborhood. Not so quiet.

Cute little place with adequate parking. Neighborhood was nice and quiet. Security cameras made us feel very safe. The house was fully stocked with everything we could need. Lovely home will definitely look into staying here again if we are in Waco.
