Stayed Apr 19, 2025Great location close to resterants and coffee shops. Excellent screened in Carolina room for out door access.

Stayed Mar 2, 2025Generally we had an enjoyable stay, but I have a few suggestions:1) We were asked to sign online the rental agreement, but the property address and fees were blank in the agreement. So, essentially we were asked to sign a blank agreement, despite assurances that all the details would be filled in accurately AFTER we signed. This is an improper business practice in my book and should be amended by VRBO.2) The second and final payment amount for the lease was incorrect (too high), and I had to call the have it corrected, which it was, but still required my involvement and added some stress to the situation until it was corrected.3) We arrived at the property to find a family of deer on the front lawn, that was very nice and unexpected, (although we didn't see them again for the entire 2 weeks).4) I attempted to contact Carolina Stays after our arrival to clarify the smoking policy. I emailed per the website and left a voice message. Neither of which was returned at all! I had to make a second phone call at 9:00 pm, which was answered (hallelujah) when I called and the young lady was very helpful and got back to me within the hour--big thanks to her for addressing the urgent issue, which until then was being ignored.5) The property and house was generally as advertised, however, it needs a few bucks spent on it to bring it up to fully expected standards. It needs some paint and some minor repairs to fix (example front screen door handle is loose (to be continued)

Stayed Mar 28, 2024This home is very clean and comfortable. It was spacious and has a wonderful enclosed porch overlooking a tranquil yard. The kitchen was fully stocked and so were the bathrooms with everything we needed. It’s located close to restaurants and the Village, parks, and shopping. We had a wonderful vacation and really enjoyed our stay.
