Charming fully renovated home near PURDUE

The house was very clean and updated. We had everything we needed to make a Thanksgiving meal for our family. We had a minor issue with the water and the owner responded immediately and took care of it. We also got 8 inches of snow during our stay and the driveway was unexpectedly cleared for us. We appreciated that so much!

We loved the house, it was very nice. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and utensils you would need. There’s a crock pot and a regular coffee maker. The beds are comfy and the closets are huge. We loved the renovation that was done. The front porch, even in August, had a nice breeze because of its height and the rocking chairs are so great we plan to buy some for our porch at home. Plenty of room and convenience for your four legged travel buddy. The park across the road was great for taking walks. They had fun games to play and the music area was a big hit. The hosts were very responsive with any questions. It’s also very convenient to the Purdue campus. Thank you so much!

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely and cozy home in Lafayette near Purdue. We were in town for a wedding, and were traveling with our pup. The home was very clean and the kitchen was great and well-stocked for allowing us to be able to cook some of our meals. The park across the street was really great for being able to take our dog out too! The property owners were very easy to communicate with and responded quickly. Highly recommend this property!

We loved our stay at Sandy Hill Cottage! It provided very comfortable (beds were great!) accommodations for myself, four daughters and one 7 month old grandson. It was very well equipped as we cooked all our own meals there. The location is super close to West Lafayette and/or Lafayette for coffee or fun shops. We enjoyed some nice walks across the road at Ft Ouiatenon. The property manager was very prompt when we had a couple minor questions. The only minor disappointment was that the road in front of the home is very travelled and noisy if trying to sit on the porch. It was quiet in the house tho. Really enjoyed it!!

The location is fantastic. Super close to Purdue’s campus but in a quiet country setting. Appreciated all the well stocked amenities.

The house was perfect to spend time with my mother and 2 sons that are currently attending Purdue.

Great place to get away

As we came into the house we noticed how clean it was. The only real problem was that the ice machine did not work but after I mentioned it the owner brought ice and water to us in ten minutes. The pictures are good but the floors were kind of awkward to walk on because they sloped at certain places. My parents had trouble walking up the stairs because they are 80 and 75 which is why you might want to put a railing from the first floor to the landing to the upstairs. If you do walk to the park area across the street you might want to watch as you cross the road because cars drive fast. The best part is sitting out on the deck and overlooking the park. I enjoyed the stay and would recommend it to the closeness to Purdue and communication with owner.

This property was perfect for us! You feel like you're in the country, but you are 10 min or less from civilization. The house is clean, and the kitchen is WELL stocked with cooking utensils, silverware, glassware; however, only 4 mugs (plan accordingly if you're a mug user). The house is across the street from the park, so absolutely EXCELLENT for dog/human exercise. Lots of wide open spaces to play. We crated our dogs in the wash room, with plenty of additional space to move around. A shout out to Le Peep for breakfast/lunch and Dos Amigos for dinner. You won't be disappointed! And, how nice to be able to bring our leftovers back to a GREAT kitchen!! Never had any problems ... 6 night stay!!

This home was just so adorable! I loved the decor and it was so very clean. I wish we could have stayed longer to fully enjoy our time, but it was a quick weekend for moving our Purdue student into housing. The owner was very responsive and kind. I did have trouble adjusting the temperature of the home, but I think that was user error not anything to do with the house. Easy check in and check out. I’d definitely stay here again.

My family had a wonderful stay at Sand Hill Cottage when my youngest graduated from Purdue this summer. The house was roomy enough for the 6 of us and we really enjoyed some porch time. I especially enjoyed my morning coffee alone there with the birds! The house was in excellent condition. It really made the event all the more special.

Everything about this property was great. The hosts were organized and provided every piece of information we may need. We had no issues the entire time. The place was also clean and super nice overall. Would definitely stay here and recommend any of their properties.

The home was clean and tastefully decorated. Plenty of sleeping room. Nicely stocked kitchen. Convenient to Purdue and restaurants a short distance away. Enjoyed rockers on wide front porch with green space view.
