The host was very kind. There were running trains but it didnt really bother us.The beds were very very firm I would pack a pillow top or fluffy comforter next time.It was perfect for our little get away from Baton Rouge for a few days..

Nice, clean little house, great host that is very helpful. The only negative thing is the train that runs through the yard. If not for that it would be a 5 star.

House shows very well and was well represented and exactly as portrayed. An old shack that was nicely renovated inside and out. Tastefully decorated in a minimalist coastal theme, not lavish. neat as a pin and comfortable and at our price point. The host is professional and pro active. I am a Landlord, property manager myself and a contractor. Pride of ownership is obvious. He cares about his properties and cares about his guests. We have never rented a house for travel before, so we were cautious, especially nowadays with 3rd party internet handlers and all the negative press, and non existent or fake properties. Because of the events in town that were taking place, I had to book this property many months well in advance of our travel date. They got my money, I got the confirmation. It was disconcerting that no real subsequent follow up call leading up to Travel time was communicated to me so naturally I was afraid that this wasn't real or the rug might be pulled out at the last minute like you read about. But It all worked out and was a good experience all the way around. If you are looking for something other than an expensive hotel during a major event, then I recommend this Host and this Property. Thank You, Ron & Marisa Z.
