Family ski trip to Stevens. Location is great. House was as advertised. If I were to stay here again, I’d get the travel insurance because dealing with Vacasa is not like working with owners. Area wide power outage for two days. No cooking, jacuzzi, lights, or heat in the bedrooms. Most likely due to the -10f temp outside, we found a mouse getting warm by the wood furnace inside. We were doing the same. Left early, no partial refund.
We would not recommend this VRBO. The location was lovely and, as advertised, 16 miles to Stevens Pass Ski Area. Our five-night stay was tainted by a two-day power outage. The hot tub was 79 degrees on the first night so we could not use it. By the next day, the power was out. During this time we did not have access to hot water, heat, the ability to cook the food we purchased, and any other amenity. In addition, the washing machine was unavailable for the duration of the stay because of a water leak. The wood-burning stove became less of an amenity and more of a necessity as weather moved through the area. One-word to one-sentence responses from management indicated that this occurs frequently and that we were ultimately responsible for the nights regardless of livability. Though we did enjoy our time in the area and on the slopes, we had to travel and pay for electricity, warmth, and food. Given that this does occur frequently, please note that backup resources (such as a camping stove, power packs, and functional flashlights) are nonexistent. Many of the neighbors have generators because of the frequency of the outages that this property lacks as well. Overall, we would not stay here again and would not recommend it. The location was wonderful, the amenities were not as advertised, and management was unhelpful, unresponsive, and dismissive.
We spent 2 nights in the cabin with a group of 7 friends and we really loved the cabin and the area! A lot to explore but also a nice place to stay if you just want to chill for a day. Definitely recommended!
The property was really nice & clean. Wish the jets in the tub worked & need spray for the restroom. Nicely located to good hiking & loved the hot tub after long day of hiking!!
Amazing love the small get away so calm and quiet , I would recommend.!
