Charming bay-front home with WiFi, spacious wraparound porch, private deck

The biggest issue was no internet for the entire stay. Apparently the bill had not been paid for 10 months and the owner was not willing to rectify the situation. There were 4 spoons and 4 forks for a house that accommodates 10 people. Light bulbs were out, stove knob missing, doors to outside wouldn't stay closed unless locked, unsecured glass in windows, things like that..

Overall it was a good trip. The property needed some minor maintenance. New batteries in tv remote, cabinets had missing door knobs, etc.

The only thing I would fix is to have staff to make coffee. Because if you are coming in late and have not went to the store yet. maybe some little big pan. It's was a very beautiful quiet and roomy. I will rent it again.

The price-point of this beach house was adequate for the accommodations. Location was good. House was clean and we had everything we needed. Kitchen could benefit from a few items: scissors, a proper cookie sheet. We had to reconnect the dryer vent, it was venting into the house but it just needs to be re-attached more securely. The windows are probably the main complaint. They need to be replaced. Most have no screens, one had no outer frame and we had to tape the window glass to keep it from falling out, condensation builds up inside many of the windows obscuring the view outside.

Our family of 6 had a wonderful time. The bay side was so peaceful and beautiful. It’s had a nice beach and we enjoyed fishing from there. We loved the room to spread out. Was just a short 5 min walk to the ocean side. Which was amazingly beautiful in the mornings for sunrise. The king sized beds were so comfy. The queen wasn’t as nice but still good. The kitchen island was so nice and large and we played lots of cards on the dining table. I would suggest to add a few rugs for comfort and also please take a look at some of the deck boards that need replacing. Also we saw a few ants in the downstairs bathroom. Overall we loved it and had a great time

I love the bayside location of this house, and fact that all of the rooms have king or queen beds. The house is pretty, but the decks are in serious need of repair (salt air). The steps going up to the entryway are rough, uneven and tilted. The kitchen was woefully understocked. There were no hot pads, kitchen towels, or spices—not even salt and pepper. If you rent, come prepared with all your kitchen basics. Also, bring any beach items you might want, there are none at the house.

We had 9 people in our group, 6 adults and 3 teens. The house fit us all very comfortably. The beach was right out the back door! I found more shells and beach glass on our section of beach than I did anywhere else we looked. The beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. The only issues we had were that there were no spices or anything for cooking, not even salt and pepper, but that's not a big deal, just something to be aware of. We would definitely stay here again!

From check-in until we left, this was a dream rental. Well supplied kitchen, comfortable furniture, CLEAN! Loves everything about this house and plan to return Thank you for a wonderful holiday!!

The house and room sizes were nice. We needed a little more seating in the living room, but we just brought in chairs from the dinning room. We enjoyed the views from both decks. Overall we had a nice vacation on the island.

We had a great time. This house slept all 7 of us comfortably and the commons areas are spacious and comfortable. Dauphin Island is a fun, laid back, beach experience. The bayside waters were calm and warm and the west end beach is just a couple of minutes away. We’ll be back!
