Charming 4 bedroom Chalet

Overall, we had a great time. Love the location and the chalet itself was very comfortable. There are however things that should be considered for future renters. Having a wood stove as the only source of heat in the basement family room is fine but wood should be provided. We've been renting up north for 20+ years and whenever there is a wood stove or fireplace, wood is always provided. It cost us over 60.00 to heat that room. Also, having to leave all bedroom doors open to get heat is really inconvenient as the only heat source is a heat monitor in the living room. Perhaps these things should be disclosed. Both bathrooms have non functioning outlets which is an inconvenience for those of us who blow dry our hair. We are grateful to have had our adult boys there to figure out streaming service, my husband and I would have been at a complete loss. The last couple of days as the temperature dropped, the front porch, walkway and driveway became sheer ice... and no ice melt or sand?? This was another purchase we had to make. Because renters are asked to take trash with them, stickers or something should be made available for the transfer station. Again, despite all of this, we enjoyed ourselves. For future winter renters these things should really be addressed. Terri

The house was the perfect size for the 6 of us. The screen porch was the perfect way to still be “outside” during the rain.

House was clean and easily assessable. The kitchen area needs some attention—organizing pots and pans, utensils. Refrigerator needs emptying. Never have rented property where you had to take your trash with you.

Great house and location to enjoy the lake region! Beach/ lake 5 min walk down the street. North conway only 25 min drive away. House was perfect size for 6 adults and a 2 year old. Great rental for the cost, would definitely stay again!
