Charming 3bd/3ba HOUSE Across the Street from the Beach w/ Gulf VIEWS!

The hosts were absolutely fabulous before, during and after our stay. The home is spacious and welcoming with all of the basics. The kitchen is well stocked with all of the cookware and utensils you’ll need to make a meal. The view from the front porch or the upstairs balcony is amazing- we spent a lot of time just listening to and watching the water and breathing in the salty air. The back yard is private and secluded with a nice fire pit area. This house is in a quiet neighborhood in Sunnyside on the far west end of the beach. We had a truly wonderful stay over winter break and can’t wait to go back in the summer.

The house was very clean and well stocked. The walk to the beach was super short, and the porches were lovely to sit and enjoy the breeze.

There is a nice area for a picnic as well as a fire pit and a peaceful area/ second drive. The only downfall was the mattress in the upstairs bedroom. Either the mattress needs changed or at least turned as there were some deep grooves. We had a fabulous time as we spent most of our week on the beach and in the water. An outside shower would have been wonderful with the many, many showers we took daily but I don't know where it would have been conveniently located. The views were incredible!

We arrived to a clean house with a good amount of cooking utensils to use. (Bring seasonings though) We had 4 adults and were very comfortable in the house. We did have to go by a fan to help keep the upstairs room cool enough. The A/C didn't seem to be able to keep up. 74 minimum temp at night is a little warm. There was a grill that was a nice surprise. Overall though the house was great. We would rent the house again. We would definitely go through Blue Swell again. They were excellent to deal.with and very informative. Thank you!

This was our 2nd time renting this house. We love itIt’s close to beach and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It feels like home. Check in and check out was so easy.We will definitely be back.

The house was so nice! It was larger than we anticipated as it seemed to look smaller in the pictures. There was more than enough room for our family of 6. The house was very clean and had everything needed to make our stay easy. We loved the blue ribbon wrapped towels and complimentary soaps - this was a really nice touch and gave a welcoming feel. We were all so happy to have the beach access directly across the street, which made for easy beach days. We really loved the Pelican’s Nest and will definitely book this property again!

Very clean and easy access to the beach

The house was perfect for us! My husband, kids (18-18-14) and myself. It’s a quiet and comfortable neighborhood! The walk to the beach was short and easy! Lots of space outside! We had everything that we needed. My husband and I are already talking about coming back on a couples trip!

This is our fifth or sixth time to the area for spring break with our boys and this was a wonderful stay. Everything you need and right across the street from beach access! Shopping and activities are close yet is far enough from the busy areas so young families can enjoy the quiet. Highly recommend! Thank you!!

Quiet beach and steps away from the beach access. Was worried about the lack of a door on the Master Bedroom upstairs, but was not an issue. Well equipped kitchen, and a two-car garage was a plus.Only TVs in two bedrooms, but young adult daughter and friend made due. Very picky wife said the Master bed was the most comfortable of ANY place we've stayed, which says A LOT! A/C worked well, but Master Bedroom was not quite as cool due to it's being on the second floor. Fortunately, we brought a fan, so all was good. We would definitely stay here again. Close to the West End PCB, including Pier Park, and close to the 30A scene as well.

And you can't beat the proximity to the beach - the public access is right across the street. The only things we didn't love were (1) the washer/dryer are out in the garage, (2) the upstairs master bedroom does not have a door for more privacy/block noise from downstairs and (3) it may be time for a new living room sofa as the cushions are no longer very supportive. That being said, none of those are big enough deals to keep us from choosing this house again. It was a great stay overall!

My friend and I enjoyed our stay at the house. The house was clean. What we loved most was the view of the ocean from the balcony in the upstairs bedroom and from the front porch.

We loved the house layout (2 bedrooms down, 1 up) and we loved the beach access was literally right across the street. The beach was not crowded, despite being a public access. We also loved the house has a garage with 2 different driveway entrances and a lot of parking space in the back. The fire pit was really fun, too. The only thing I did not like about the house was not having a better equipped kitchen. There were limited utensils like only one set of crab leg crackers, no cutting knifes, and no spices at all. I have stayed at many units where there was at least salt and pepper. This unit didn’t even have that. Also, the fridge freezer isn’t working 100%. All of our ice cream and popsicles were sort of half way or 3/4 melted the whole week. Other than the kitchen, we enjoyed it and would rent this property again. Last thing! The blue swell agents were so nice and accommodating! Great job!
