Charming 3 Bedroom Villa w/ Private Pool in quiet area,200 meters to beach,A/C

Everything we wanted for our stay

First time staying at this villa and it was so lovely. The outside kitchen and toilet was spot on, especially with having children. The villa is a stones throw away from the beach. Highly recommend a stay at this villa

We really enjoyed our stay in the villa, the pool is large, the beds are comfortable, and the showers were good. The villa is well equipped with plenty of cutlery and crockery for dining in. However, for us there are quite a few minor issues that took the edge off our stay Our biggest issue is with the pool. There are problems with the pump and underground pipework which means it does not filter properly. We therefore spent a lot of time each day netting out insects, leaves and other debris which should be removed through the pool skimmer. We reported this several times, we were assured the pool would remain safe to swim in but were disappointed to not have the sparkling pool we expected. The steps from the path to the Villa are extremely dangerous as they are uneven with no handrail. We found this difficult with suitcases, shopping, in the dark and with small children There is no shade or umbrella on the balcony overlooking the sea making it too hot to sit out during the day when the view was at its best. There is lots of storage but most drawers were difficult to open and close, also many of the knobs kept falling off in our hands. The wardrobes all smelt damp. Some basic maintenance is required which would greatly improve the overall experience.

The property was spacious & clean. We loved the facilities in the outside kitchen. Pool & outside area were great.

We stayed for two weeks with two young kids. The agency was always friendly and quick. The location is great, beautiful view and a short walk to to the beach. It was usually quiet except some nights when some folks in the neighborhood partied a bit. Just a couple of things that should be updated: 1. The shades at the balcony had been removed before we arrived which means that after 8am you actually cannot use the balcony due to the intense sun which was sad as the view was beautiful. 2. Some of the bigger pillows at the pool area looked really dirty and not at all something you want to lay yourself down. 3. One bedroom had two mattress that were worn-out so they should be replaced 4. It was ok cleaned but I would recommend to spend 1-2 more cleaning-hours when new guests arrive as we found trash outside in the corners and especially the kitchen needs a bit more focus.

Would highly recommend this quaint villa. Very well furnished and equipped - never had so much crockery! Great outdoor space with outdoor kitchen. Spoilt for choice with where to sit. Nice sized pool. It's down a path and over the road from the long beach. About 20-25 mins walk to the marina, another ten to the old town. 2 min car drive to the marina and supermarket. Only down side is one of the bedrooms is accessed through the second bathroom but that didn't bother us. Hope to return one day. Thanks.

This villa is gorgeous and in a great location--the photos don't even do it justice. The pool is beautiful and the views are spectacular; the decorating is charming and warm. The only issue we had was that loads of things were broken or broke whilst we were there, from very gentle use. When we arrived the front gate was broken and clearly had been for awhile; there was a bike lock next to it but that was not in use. This meant we couldn't lock up the villa/pool area properly, though the locks on the villa doors themselves worked. One inside dining chair was broken and set aside when we arrived, the showerhead in one bathroom had come off the wall, and a large awning had come down from the upstairs patio and was thrown in the alley. (It looked like it had been there for awhile.) Knobs popped off drawers we opened as well; it was almost comical. We let the management team know about the gate when we checked in, but didn't hear anything all week. (We didn't really care, we were just letting them know for future guests.) Then a day or so after we left, we got a text saying we'd broken into a linen cupboard and it would cost us £60 to repair, which was pretty strange because we hadn't even known there WAS a linen cupboard. I don't often leave reviews and I've never given a bad one but I thought the response of the property management was a little off, given the state of the place--perhaps trying to get ahead of this review?

A fabulous family holiday, great outside space to accommodate our family of 7, initial concerns were quickly remedied.

We had a wonderful holiday in this very well equipped villa that has everything you need and more!! Management company were very good both before and during our stay with everything ready for our arrival including a cot and high chair for our grandson. My only minor criticisms were that on arrival (Friday afternoon) the gardeners were working and blowing leaves including large palm fronds into the pool....why?? Management company responded very quickly but unfortunately the pool man was not able to come until Wednesday the next week. Spent some time getting most out ourselves!! A word of caution for anyone with mobility problems the entrance via the back stone (rock) steps is quite tricky particularly in the wet or carrying heavy cases. We were told we could not use the steps in the area by the pool which is much safer. I would have given the villa five stars had it not been for the leaves!!

This property came as advertised. Pictures were accurate. It was generally quiet. Bathrooms, kitchen(s), dining area all functional. The beach is an easy walk to get to. Lagos is a good location to access lots of good hiking and sight seeing.
