We offer a 24/7 On-Demand Concierge Service. Extra fees apply for this service and it includes anything from restaurant reservations, special requests, in-home chef, amenity arrangements, mid-stay cleaning service, and more.
GUEST SCREENING:
We use SUPERHOG as part of our guest screening process, and your SUPERHOG application must match the primary guest name on the reservation, and your background check must be completed within 48 hours after you receive your booking confirmation as per State and City law. Your booking is NOT confirmed until these requirements have been fulfilled. Once the reservation is confirmed, and prior to check-in, guests must sign a Rental Agreement outlining the terms of the stay.
RULES:
This is a NON Smoking home. No smoking of any kind.
No pets without prior approval. We do allow one dog with a $175 non refundable pet fee.
We do not allow cats due to guest allergies.
We do not allow parties or events | Quiet hours from 10 p.m-8 a.m.
No guests that are not on the reservation or otherwise approved.
Service fees are non-refundable in the event of a cancellation.

Named for the street that slices through the southern part of the district, the Roosevelt Historic District features a variety of well-kept California and Craftsman Bungalow single-family homes built on narrow, deep lots. Located in the heart of the Historic Roosevelt Row Arts District in downtown Phoenix, just a few blocks from the city center, Valley Metro light rail, and farmers market.
Walk to the light rail, museums, sports arenas, arts and popular concerts all within blocks, as well as Arizona State University's downtown campus.
. DOG PARK . Directly across the street is Phoenix's first dog park in the downtown area.
We have driveway parking and plenty of free street parking, but you really don't need a car. We are 5 minute walk to ASU downtown and the weekly farmers market. We are a 10 minute walk to the convention center, the downtown urban core, The Phoenix Art Museum and Heard Museum. Walk to great coffee shops, restaurants, ale houses and bars. We are a block away from the Roosevelt light rail stop which goes directly to the airport and all around metro Phoenix. There are Grid bikes to rent. Uber and Lyft are popular here, and because we are in the heart of downtown, you never have to wait more than 3 minutes!

By solely booking “Casa Magdalena”, you are aware and acknowledge that there is a shared common backyard space with any additional guests that may be staying in “The Bungalow” simultaneously.

House was perfect for a quick stay. We would definitely book it again!!
We loved the historic house on Culver. The neighborhood was really nice, located near a park and close to metro as well as downtown for driving. The home was meticulously cleaned and the Interior decorating was five stars. We were totally taken aback. Our teen was really happy to have so much space and his own room and bathroom. I cooked breakfast both mornings. The host / hosting company had great communication and we felt there was a really personal touch. I couldn’t stop taking pictures. My husband and I don’t like staying in generic hotels the first time we visit a city. This home made us feel like we got the best of Phoenix for our short trip. The coffee was also pretty great! And there was a water filter which was a nice touch. For couples staying in the master just know there isn’t much separation from bathroom and bedroom but the second bathroom is there if you want total privacy. Everything was extremely romantic. The huge TV in the master bedroom was great. We ate outdoors on the lovely courtyard. We walked to the metro at night. I wouldn’t walk alone but felt perfectly safe with my husband. Oh man the restaurants nearby are so plentiful!!! Please try the fry bread in Phoenix! Just a few minutes drive nearby. I could have moved right in. Thanks to our hosts.

We were looking for a location close to downtown and we found it. Quiet private right next to a park, but very accessible to restaurant bars, and the revitalized downtown of Phoenix. Our bungalow was great for the two of us. The bungalow was appointed very nicely, and all the amenities that we would want. The property management company was very easy to communicate with and very responsive, even though we didn’t need anything because everything was already set up so well. Highly recommend this place and location and the property management company.
