Charming 1920's House - pet friendly, 45 minutes from beach & attractions!

This property was above my expectations. Clean and recently renovated and packs lots of charm. Neighborhood is quiet also. Communications with host were easy.

Everything was just like the pictures, any questions I had were answered swiftly, and it was a lovely, quiet area.

The host was great at communicating and answering our questions in a timely manner. The house is charming, comfortable, and welcoming after long days of being a tourist. The screen porch was peaceful in the morning listening to the water feature and birds while sipping a cup of coffee. Just what we wanted!!If you need somewhere to stay in the Sanford area, this is the place!

We have stayed before and offered a couple of suggestions after our stay last time. It was nice the see the updates. This is a wonderful place. Very convenient to everything.

The place was perfect.

This is a beautiful home from 1925 that has been immaculately restored. It has a gorgeous updated kitchen and updated restrooms. We were in town for a baseball tournament with two moms and two teenage boys. It’s about 8 minutes from Boombah. The area coming up to the home is older, but we felt very safe the entire time. It’s walkable to the older historic district near the water, but it’s much easier to drive. Very close to a Winn Dixie and a Publix on the way to the fields. PROS:Comfy beds, great well stocked kitchen, washer and dryer, exceptionally clean, beautifully cared for, covered parking, AC worked great (FL is hot in July!) THINGS to CONSIDER (these aren’t cons, just stuff I didn’t realize: (1) There are two full bathrooms. However, only one bathroom is on the floor with the three bedrooms. This bathroom has one sink and a tub. The second bedroom is downstairs and through the kitchen and laundry room. It’s a 100 year old home, so not a surprise but just something to consider. I didn’t catch this in the description! (2) the room with the twin beds is very small. The trundle really doesn’t even pull out all the way. If you need that space for teenagers or more than one adult, it would be a challenge. Totally fine for small kids. Overall, a great house. Great host. We would definitely stay here again.

So much better than a hotel when away for baseball!

We had a beautiful stay in this home while we were in town for a baseball tournament. Great proximity and there’s a Publix on the way to the fields! Super clean. Beds are comfortable! And hearing the Fountain outside while we slept was the icing on the cake. We will be back :-)

Mellonville Manor was the perfect location for our wedding party to stay for our wedding! The place was cozy, close to everything, and the host was commutative and easy to work with. We’ve already talked about staying here again for a staycation in the future.

This home is so quaint with well-appointed design choices. The screened in porch is great, and we enjoyed the open concept of the living and kitchen area. We were in Sanford for a wedding, and this fit the needs of 5 adults. I would not hesitate to stay here again. The owner has excellent communication and response time. Thank you!

This old house is beautifully renovated. The screened in front porch with the fountain on the side was awesome. A great place to gather. The kitchen was beautiful. We will definitely return.

We needed a place where we could feel at home that was in a good proximity to all our activities, and this was perfect. There is a great downtown within walking distance. (for us)

This house was absolutely perfect for my son and me during our trip to visit a nearby college. It was not only clean and comfortable but also warm and inviting, making us feel right at home. The location was excellent, providing convenient access to everything we needed. Our host was incredibly attentive and went above and beyond, exceeding my already high expectations from the other glowing reviews. With my son likely attending college in the area, this will definitely be our go-to place for future visits when my wife and I are in town. Highly recommended!
