Clean, spacious and great location!! The bedding was soft warm and comfortable. The commuter rail may pose a trouble if light sleeper. We enjoyed watching them pass from back patio.

My only small complaint is that parking was a challenge.

Great space. Conveniently located to town. Walked most places. Train tracks and station ate real close but fortunately they dont run at night.

The parking is manageable but competitive in the evenings. Other than that, if you don’t mind the location, it is a great house

The home is spacious, with high ceilings. Plenty of outlets, good ac, and no problems with the WiFi except that the network is the password and the password is the network on the info sheet

The location was convenient. Close to attractions and restaurants. The location was relatively quiet. The train really wasn’t a bother. We actually looked forward to hearing the train. Everything was as expected.

The location, though the train is in the backyard, was very convenient. As a coffee drinker, Dunkin was a couple min walk. My boyfriend and I planned this trip around going to Salem for halloween so having the train within walking distance was perfect. If you are a light sleeper, this may not be for you. But with that we were both so tired from exploring the beautiful city that we didn't notice too much. Definitely a great stay!

This property was right by train station and several quick stops for sundries. The train did not bother us (earplugs work well) and the accommodations were clean and comfortable!

The house itself is very nice. It was clean and comfortable inside. However to say you hear bells and whistles from the train is a vast understatement. In be master br your head is about 15 ft from the train. It runs til about 1 am. So you’re hearing and feeling the train all night long. Additionally the cars and motorcycles tearing by all night long makes it loud even when the train is not present. There were also a lot of ants in the kitchen and bathroom. Finally the lack of parking on a busy weekend made finding street parking a challenge.

There was nothing in the Vrbo description about it being right next to a commuter train and a fairly busy street. The place lacks a dishwasher and w/d. The bathroom was ridiculous: tiny shower, no towel bars, ring for hand towel or even a toilet paper holder. And it has a motion detector light in the bathroom that kept going off every minute or less. The thermostat kept resetting itself to a high temperature, making us needing to get up and set it back to what we are used to. On the plus side, although very sparse in decor, it was fairly modern and updated. They had super soft bed covers. And it’s across from an amazing Portuguese restaurant, and Dunkin’ Donuts was two doors down.

The furniture was comfortable and it is a pretty space but there were power tools left on the coffee table, a random pretzel on one of the bedroom doorways, and there were ants. There isn’t a dishwasher, so you’re relying on the cleanliness of the last guest to hand wash the dishes they used. Needless to say, dishes were grimy and needed to be rewashed before being used. The water pressure in the shower is really poor. The listing said there was one parking spot, but we couldn’t locate it and when I reached out to guest services, we were told it was street parking only. All the street parking in front of the property was taken so we had to drive up the hill and down another side street. On our last day we saw that there actually IS a parking spot reserved for the property right across the street. It would've been nice if guest services actually knew that. Not that it mattered, since someone was parked in it the whole time we were there. We were also furious about the train. It is right in the backyard of the house and it runs at all hours of the night. It shook the house as it rode by. The sound of the horn blaring and the flashing lights kept us up all night. There also seemed to be a security camera outside the house, which is fine, but it was not disclosed in the listing. I would not recommend this property.
