Stayed Sep 19, 2025What a charming little hideaway! Its just a few blocks from Byrd Park and Maymont Park and not far from downtown. Most of the things we did in Richmond were within a 10 minute drive. The house itself is small but very cozy and well appointed. I was impressed with the way they used the space, leaving us plenty of room for our bags and stuff. Three bathrooms bake a big difference, although they are small. Still, there's plenty of places in the bathrooms for kits and toothbrushes. There is parking behind the house, but we had no trouble parking on the street. I would describe the neighborhood as transitional and we were slightly concerned when we first found the house, but the neighborhood is quiet and very safe. All of the people we met were very nice. Our property manager was excellent and we had all our questions answered quickly and very politely. James is awesome! We loved it.

Stayed Jun 16, 2025We were very comfortable. The house was clean and well furnished. Communication with our host was spot on. Location is convenient to downtown, Carytown, and Fan District. So restaurants galore, good shopping, sightseeing, and history. Enjoyed our stay!

Stayed May 17, 2025As of May 2025, this is very clearly a new and thrown together flip turned rental property. The location is convenient and the rental manager is very communicative. The house itself is... lacking. There are zero hooks anywhere in the house, so if you come in with sopping wet jackets, there is nowhere to put them. The bathrooms are microscopic and while new by any standards are almost unusable. You can't even successfully brush your teeth using the sink. The baseboards, ceiling fan, and other rarely cleaned surfaces are absolutely disgusting. The snacks were expired, the entry is crawling with ants, and the kitchen is woefully understocked (not a single oil in the house for use on the non-stick pans). They don't offer a recycling can, so I guess it just goes in the trash. To top if off, we had issues with gas smells in the house and the rental manager tried to gaslight us (pun not intended) say that the home did not have any gas appliances and that we couldn't have been experiencing gas because the CO2 detectors didn't go off. Overall, basic and fine, but I wouldn't personally recommend it until they address some major issues -- including the gas that landed a member of our party in the hospital.
