Springfield, Missouri
Built in 1925 and renovated in 2018 with focus on comfort and function, yet keeping true to original design and simplicity. Enjoy the cozy living room, sunroom with live plants or sit on the covered front porch. Across the street from the Art Museum, easy walk to Phelps Grove Park, Tennis Courts, 2 restaurants, Xeriscape Garden, MSU. Near Mercy Hospital, Downtown, Expo Center, Route 66, Cardinals stadium, Bass Pro/WOW. I also enjoy hosting the home across the street “Art House at the Museum.”
The space
This home is located in the quaint Phelps Grove neighborhood. Built on a corner lot with a pleasant view of the tennis courts and Art Museum across the street. We have a Firestick on a flat screen in the living room. The kitchen is set for preparing meals with a gas stove and fridge/freezer with icemaker, pots and utensils. Each of the two bedrooms have a queen bed and closet with space for luggage. There are 2 separate living areas. I always set up a Christmas tree for holiday guests in December.
Guest access
Guests access the home easily, parking in 2 side-by-side spaces on the driveway just a few steps from the back door.
Other things to note
We welcome children of all ages, but the home is not “baby/child proof.” I have a booster seat and a seat with a tray available, also a pac n’play. Please let me know which of these items you will need upon booking.
