Cedar Hollow Cottage: 4 Bed/2 Bath with HOT TUB and steps to beach!

This is the second time I’ve stayed here with friends. Great location and lots of space. We had a few minor issues—but spoke with host about them and she’s resolving, including updating the guest bathroom this year! It’s a cozy, comfortable home.

This is a nice cottage. The hot tub is great and it’s a short walk to Lake Michigan!

Very open with plenty of seating, abundance of dishes, easy access to the beach, great support and response time from homeowner for cleanliness concerns; the home is in need of better maintenance.

The location of the home is awesome. SO close to Miller Beach. Thoroughly enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings. Four bedrooms was perfect however the mattress in the middle bedroom needs replacing. The three season room is very nice and bright but needs a furniture refresh, kind of wasted space the way it is. The caulk around the tub in the hall bath is gone, so seems to allow some bugs to come in. All in all, enjoyed our stay.

Great location and great house! Some of the furniture was at the end of its life (leaning coffee table) and the outdoor furniture could use a washing. Bedrooms were nice, great outdoor space.

Always great to be back , this is our second year. This home fits our family of 8 adults and 2 kids perfectly . The location to Miller beach and several local eateries is a pleasant plus to our stay. Jennifer communicates well whenever anything comes up . We also love the neighborhood. Thank you!!!

We love our annual beach vacation and have enjoyed CHC three years in a row. Location is absolutely perfect and we love the house!

From 16 to 83 everyone enjoyed their stay. Couldn't use the hot tub due to excessive heat but will be our excuse to come back.

We stayed five days and enjoyed every one of them. The property is close to dining, entertainment, and the beach. The home was well equipped- we really didn’t need to bring anything except groceries. It was easy to communicate with the host and she was very responsive. We would definitely book this trip again in the future.

Overall we were enamored with the cottage that we rented for our girls weekend. The location was great, we went back and forth between New Buffalo and St. Joe's for shopping, walking and eating. The house was quirky and very aesthetically pleasing. We were not s thrilled with a bathrooms, the shower in the guest area had mold spots on the shower curtain and when you switched it from the tub faucet to shower head, the amount of water still coming out of the tub faucet was wild. The master bathroom shower floor felt a little questionable due to the black grout where you would stand. We decided against using that shower altogether. The hot tub is under quite a few pines and not terribly close to the house, so we ended up not using it, even though we had hoped to. Other than that, we had ample room for us to sprawl out and enjoy our time.

Beautiful house, well appointed, close to the lake and dining. Beds are comfortable- great spot.

Ive been renting houses in order to have all of my kids and granddaughter stay for the whole weekend for Christmas. Its an absolute blessing to be able to do this. The house has 4 bedrooms and plenty of gathering space. Jen is s great host and very responsive. The house had everything we needed. Much more than any other Ive stayed at.

Host clearly takes pride in her home and welcomes her guests to share it. Very well-supplied for cooking and entertaining, great spaces for communal activities and for having some quiet time. Very attractively decorated, not too fussy, clean and comfortable. Very convenient location. Probably our nicest VRBO experience.

This place was perfect for our girls weekend. Close to wineries and restaurants. The owner was so easy to communicate and offered helpful tips for during our stay. The hot tub was an added bonus on a chilly night. Can’t wait to book again.

Our stay was perfect from start to finish. Jennifer gave us loads of helpful information and was very communicative. The house was beautiful and very clean. It was stocked with absolutely everything we could need and more. The yard was nice and the hot tub was perfect. There was even a pile of kindling in the fire pit which made starting a fire a breeze! Steps to a beautiful beach and the town is super cute. Thanks for a wonderful time!!

Four 60+ age high school buddies stayed at this delightful property in October 2024 while attending a Notre Dame football game. The place was perfect in size, comfort, and location. We walked to the beach to catch a couple of beautiful sunsets and had a short 40-minute drive to the Stadium on Saturday. In between, we got in 2 rounds of golf at courses within a short distance. The house has everything you need: the kitchen is very well stocked, the 4 BR's are spacious, the two living / family rooms are also large and comfortable; the hot tub is fabulous and the fire pit is perfect for star-gazing. Union Pier and New Buffalo are cool beach towns with great eateries and drinkeries coming online at a rapid rate. Jennifer was a wonderful hostess and she communicated all the particulars simply. Would definitely come back to this house if in the area again.

Attractive, well, kept property with several spaces for gathering indoor and out. Great place for a group to stay!

Just returned from a girls weekend celebrating a college friends 65th birthday. We wanted a house close to the beach- and we got it. A three minute walk had us there. The home has beach chairs, umbrella and a wagon in addition!! The house had lots of room, was very clean and had an everything we needed in the kitchen. Remember this is an older cottage- it’s not brand new by far-but it’s very comfortable!! But we would stay again!

What a wonderful stay we had at Cedar Hollow Cottage! Everything was just as described in the listing. The house lent itself perfectly for our girls weekend, from the decor to its amenities, tucked away in a quaint little beach town. We enjoyed our morning walking to the local bakehouse and coffee shop, spent our afternoon at a few different wineries in Baroda (roughly 25 min away) and spent our evening watching the sunset on the beach which was STEPS away from the house. Jennifer was responsive and helpful giving tons of local recommendations and resources. We would stay here again!

I think this was our 4 year at this location and it fits our family perfectly. This is focused family time, going to the beach, cooking together, playing games and building puzzles. Simply a great warm house with everything that you may need and the location is absolutely relaxing.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house was equipped with all of the basic needs and more. Location is unbeatable, 2-3 minute walk to a public beach. The host was very nice, greate communication. Definetely recommend!

We had a great week! The property was well equipped w everything needed to cook. Our family of 6 plus two littles were very comfortable, several gathering spaces. The amenities for the beach were great, a cart, wagon , umbrella and chairs for all of us. Everything listed was available . The location was perfect , to the beach! Would love to stay here again!

Our family has stayed at Cedar Grove Cottage for four years now. We come back because CGC accommodates our party well and is close to the beach. There is plenty of room for us all, and makes it easy for us to cook when we want, while good restaurants and markets are not far away.
