Kilgobbin Castle is adjacent to the holiday homes and 5 km away is the village of Ballinspittle, made famous for its ‘moving statues’. Ballinadee is 3 km away, a tiny country village with a great pub where impromptu music sessions are a regular event.

IMPORTANT NOTES

1. Heating and Electricity:

Depending on the location of your booking, a non-refundable Utility Contribution of €40 may apply. If applicable, this charge is paid with your holiday balance and will appear in your payment breakdown.

If no Utility Contribution is shown on your booking, we recommend contacting our call centre to confirm how utility charges are applied, as this can vary by location.

If the €40 Utility Contribution has been charged, any additional utility costs will be handled in one of the following ways:

•Paid locally to the Owner or Property Manager. Please check with them directly, as the calculation method varies by property.

•Pay As You Go electricity meter. The €40 will be credited to the meter on the first day of your stay, and you will need to top up the meter as required during your stay.

Please note that gas or oil charges, where applicable, are always payable locally based on usage and are not included in the amount paid at the time of booking.



2. Security Deposit:

A minimum refundable security deposit of €200 (per property) must be paid prior to check-in to your holiday home to the local Property Manager/ Owner. This is either taken over the phone by pre-authorising your credit card when you call the Property Manager to arrange your arrival time 48 hours in advance of arrival or at others it is taken on arrival. In some locations and at certain times of year this can increase to €500 per property.



3.Towels:

Towel sets are available upon request at a small charge. Please contact our Call Centre or the Property Manager to arrange (you will find the Property Manager's contact details at the Arrival Info document sent to you in the final payment confirmation).

    We loved our stay at Castle Wuay. Our host was very helpful and attentive. The home was very nice and well stocked to make our trip enjoyable. . We would have loved good directions into Kinsale from the house as google maps sent us all kinds of different ways. Some of theroads were a bit narrow for night driving when you weren’t sure where you were going.

    The spacious house. The cleanliness. Well equipped. The French press. The stunning view. The house Martins. The shower pressure. More little water glasses for kids. The mattress in the bedroom downstairs (but I know that everyone has its own opinion).

    An excellent place to stay ,which was our second time at Castle Quay homes The house is very well designed ,very roomy and lovely and bright . its position is lovely looking over the Bandon river and surrounding gorgeous countryside.
